I was in the restaurant on August 8th it happened to be my birthday and I came in there to get a shot of Canadian Club I just finished my dinner with my wife in the restaurant next door called Good Times I walked into the bar I ordered a drink and the young lady asked me for my name for the receipt even though I was not paying by credit card and I just produced cash in the bar that day they were two patrons and a female bartender the two male patrons started to make references to me saying that the drink I like must be because I'm black it was disgusting it was hurtful it was racist and all three of them started to laugh they thought it was very funny I took my money and I walked out one of the male patrons who was making fun of me came outside and try to shake my hand and ask me to come back inside to buy me a drink I didn't go my thought was actually to do react violently but he was clearly drunk and staggering and my wife was a witness to him coming out to try and shake my hand and does so that we are clear she's from Newfoundland I've tried to contact the owner her name is Sylvia and she refused to believe me I'm asking you not to go into this Racist scumbag bar and boycotted at all cost it is so hurtful and painful that this happened to me and beg you not to go there and Pls help me to shut them down Pls contact me because I need help to...

I really like this place because it's generally quiet. You won't find gourmet food here - it's more like snack bar food, but it hits the spot while having a few beers. The owner is really nice, always offering suggestions of which beer to try and engaging in conversation.
