I never write reviews but thought I would be doing a disservice to this coffee shop if I didnāt. Iāve tried sooo many coffee shops all over Toronto and Dispatch has easily become my absolute favourite place to get a latte. What makes a good coffee shop AMAZING is consistency when it comes to making their drinks, excellent service and also having the option to add in your own sugar and/or milk which I find a lot of coffee shops lack all of the above and should be the bases of all coffee shops. For me personally, the most important quality of an amazing coffee shop is consistency in their coffee beans & drinks. Every time I go to Dispatch the baristas always make me the most delicious latte. I always thank them because I want to give credit where itās due! You know itās a good latte when there are barely any bubbles in the milk and it seems like the milk is still frothing when they hand it over to you. Itās so smooth and creamy and you definitely donāt taste or get the texture of burnt milk. They change up their beans so I am able to try a variety of blends and I have never been disappointed in the taste. Thank you for making...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGood coffee but beware the food. I regularly buy lattes here and the ladies who serve are lovely and efficient.
this is an update since my last review with a new version and almost equally bad grilled cheese sandwich. This version is cheese and tomato jam - the jam is a sweet, disgusting and totally off-putting addition to a classic.
Dispatch, grilled cheese is a classic. Don't mess with it- i.e. no relish, no jam, no crap.
I made the mistake of ordering a grill cheese sandwich today. It contained peppers are relish which made the sandwich taste disgusting and inedible. I threw it out. I did not pay close attention to the menu as I had ordered this sandwich before and it was a normal, traditional grill cheese sandwich. Donāt mess with a good thing.
The other reason why I do not recommend ordering food at this location is the scones. They sell scones without butter even though the vast majority of people who eat scones put butter on them. I could see charging extra for butter but there is not excuse for not offering butter as an option. Therefore I cannot recommend...

I ordered a latte and - no joke - one of the best lattes Iāve ever had the pleasure of sipping on. It was nutty, sweet - honey undertones, perfect amount of foam to milk to espresso⦠and the art is nice too. I havenāt been buying much coffee from cafes but 100% worth it here and will come back
Edit (22/09/15):
Came back as promised. Tried the āfor hereā experience. After a few weeks of drinking my humble home brew coffee I had another one of the mind expanding lattes here⦠canāt be beat and with taste well beyond its price point. I didnāt realize there was an upstairs lounge area with free wifi. Itās clean and neat, with outlets and great warm lighting. Studying at cafĆ©s was a pre-pandemic artifact for me but Iām enticed to have found a place where I can do...
