Embassy Bar — Restaurant in Toronto

I've only been here a couple times, and while I might be in the minority here, I found it far too loud. I'm all for music and partying, but sitting in here makes me wish I had earplugs in. I will admit that I find myself to be quite sensitive to sound, but my friends had similar complaints. You can really only talk to the person directly next to you, and even then you have to yell.

It's a shame because I would have stayed for a few more drinks each of the times I've been. The music was actually good and interesting, the decor is super cool, generally good vibes all around!

Not worth visiting. It is not so affordable, the drinks are overpriced, they do not even have basic liquor such as jagaermaister, or redbull. The staff is not helpful with regards to choosing a drink. We once got a drink here and think that the staff just made up the price on the spot for it. It doesn't have the energy it should have for bars like that. It looks better on photos than it does in real life experience. Will not visit again. Very...

bub and i got drinks here during opening hours. it was quiet which was nice. there are booths and couches. we chose the table. i got black ginger cocktail which was a nice mix of rum, and ginger beer. male bartender was kind and patient. the bathroom located in the basement was kind of spooky but super cool. bub said the bar aesthetic resembles my apartment. very eclectic....
