I was there about an hour ago and ordered a burrito. A guy came in right after me and ordered. They started to make his and I was wondering why because I had ordered before him. He didn't seem to have any manners no please or thank you's, was just talking in a low voice the whole time asking her to do stuff. When I asked the lady behind the cash why they made his first when I had ordered first, she said 'he was in a hurry'. I replied it doesn't matter if he's in a hurry, it's first come first serve. She just looked at me. Another customer who was on her way out came over and said 'she's right you don't, it doesn't matter that he was in a hurry, she ordered first'. The lady behind the cash and guy further back just looked at us, still saying nothing. I considered asking for a refund but I thought maybe if they thought about what had happened a bit longer they may apologize. When she handed me the food, I thanked her and said she shouldn't let a rude person boss her around, it's not right. The rude guy who skipped the line was still in there eating, paying no attention. Both of them behind the counter just stared again. Very bad customer service. I have sympathy for the lady getting pressured to make his right away because he was in a hurry, but they shouldn't tolerate that behavior, he should have been told to wait his turn. On top of that, I had asked for no spice and ended up with a very spicy burrito. I didn't see her squeeze the hot sauce on so I'm guessing it was a hot...
Read moreHave been going to this location for years and in recent months it has gone downhill. Have had two very poor experiences in the last week - once where I did a pick up order and when I arrived to pick up the order they said they gave it away by mistake and there was no apology or anything but I had to wait 15 minutes for a new one.
The second experience was yesterday. I went with a friend to get a burrito, we each ordered separately. The lettuce was brown and I commented on this when they were preparing my burrito, they said there was no other lettuce available. It was funny as another customer also asked for fresh lettuce as she noticed it was brown. As my friend and I left they gave us each our burritos. When we started eating our burritos we found out they had given us the wrong ones. Spending $15 to then be given the wrong burrito is disappointing. Not to mention, the burritos would not stay together and started pouring out the bottom.
We also witnessed an Uber driver ask for a cup of water as it was a extremely hot in the restaurant and they said no to him.
Very unhappy with the new management and service. Lots of other places to go...
Read moreIf I were basing this review on just the food, I would give it 5 stars. I went to this location during the summer about three times.
The first time and second time, the customer service was excellent. We were going through our few months of véganisme and I couldn't decide whether to get the grilled vegetables or sweet potato, so the employee behind the counter suggested he would do half half. What a treat! (see photo)
Unfortunately on a day when the manager was having a bad day I would assume, so I do not blame him, I was let down by both him and another employee, which caused me to walk out. I had asked for the same half sweet potato half grilled veggie that I always got and was met with some extreme attitude from the employee.
The manager here likes to mutter things under his breath that his customers undoubtedly hear regardless. Not sure if he doesn't know this or just doesn't care. He may have been stressed out because of Covid. I hear is an all around good guy from people in the area.
Anyway, won't be going...
