The staff were welcoming and nice, tho ngl the food is kinda a let down, I did see them freshly cook the meat/burger on the stove whatever, but the burger itself as the other reviews mentioned were unfortunately quite dry and tasteless and lil too solid texture for my personal taste… I came here for poutine before and that was decent, but the California fries was not rlly what I expected, I saw reviews from a while ago that they used cheese sauce that looked yellow, but ours was orange cheese slices, so the quality isn’t as good as before ig… and because it was cheese slices, meaning the cheese isn’t quite even and spread out, since it’s like pieces, and the cheese slices just have a rlly sweet taste which personally not my fav… and they do charge an extra $1 for sauces (didn’t buy that, but like just thought I should include that…). Idk I’m just a lil sad cuz I had kinda high expectations maybe?? We chose I think was the 4oz fresh burger combo that comes with fries and a drink, tho adding the California fries does require extra ~$5.39, which sums up to like lil more than $22 including tax

I had a Fresh Burger 4oz beef patty brought home to me as a surprise from a family member. I have not had a Fresh burger for quite some time, when they first opened this location I did frequent the place for burger and/or fries once in a while. But this is the first time I had the single 4oz patty. It is small, a nice guiltless treat, the meat was fresh, the tomato slice, lettuce, onions were fresh and the pickles were plentiful; the bun was toasted nicely on the inside and the outer sides of the bun was plush and soft. In all ways, it did meet it’s claim to be a very fresh burger. I love the way the burger is wrapped and placed in a pocket size/fry bag. The 4oz single patty is definitely on the smaller size, good for a snack or for smaller portion eaters, but the price is slightly on the higher end. I understand, as the fresh ingredients and quality products are served. Very small place, a few stools/counter tops for eat in; warmer months bring out a side patio seating. Street parking only.

I’m a big fan of Fresh Burger and normally go out of my way to visit the Leslie/16th location because they make the best burgers out of all the locations I’ve tried. I ordered a Prime Burger from the North York location and I was surprised at how poor the burger tasted compared to the Leslie location. It was poorly assembled, the patty was very dry and it was still a little raw in the middle (not just pink - there was raw pieces of uncooked meat in the middle). I reached out to the franchise location on the website and did not receive any response. I then reached out to Corporate and did not receive a response. Lastly I reached out to the location over Instagram and (big surprise)… did not receive a response. If you want Fresh Burger, steer clear of this location and make the trip to the Leslie/16th location. Happy Holidays!

I love the burgers here that are made fresh to order. The sauce. The ingredients. The price. Everything is amazing regarding quality of food. In fact, I was ready to place another order tonight but I remembered something that had grossed me out the last time I ordered which may prevent me from being a returning customer. And this is the hygiene aspect. The last couple of times I’ve ordered take out from this place I’ve seen the same girl working the grill come up to the front to assist me and other customers with their orders which is fine. It’s better than being ignored until she’s done. The only thing is she’s done this without changing her gloves and wiping sweat off her face with the back of her hand, which means after handling money and the cash register she goes right back to grilling and preparing the food with the same hands. The last time I had grease marks all over my take away bag which means her hands do in fact come into contact with the food. I’ve worked in the food industry before and this is a big no no. I would just recommend if the employees will interchange between working from the back to the front please enforce the rule of changing gloves and or/washing hands in between making the food and taking orders. Other than that the food is amazing and the customer service...

Unfortunate experience today, I used to live in the area and had a good recollection of this place. Was back in the area today and thought I’d revisit. When I went in there was no one ahead of me in line and a couple came in after. My order was taken and there was nothing on the grill, nothing in the fryer, the staff chatted, my order (simple burger and fries) was not started until 15 minutes in. I did not receive my food until more than 20 minutes from the original order, which I find a very long time to wait when there are only 3 simple orders.

Occasionally as one of the staff worked the other staff would just stand there and stare at me while I was waiting. No apology for the wait, no explanation, no attempt to help and speed up the process.

Then after receiving the food I found the burger bun was cold and stale, difficult to chew because it was dry and a little hard. The fries were not even salted and tasted like nothing. Not even the ketchup could save it and I had to discard most of it.

I don’t really understand how this place has a high rating anymore. It’s possible the staff was new, but there has to be better quality control. Really unacceptable food for the amount of time a customer has to wait. Unfortunately will not be going back anymore. Hope they do...

It has been a while that I have experienced my worst delivery pick up in this restaurant and whenever I pass by there I have reminded myself to write a good review for them and today is that day :) A couple of time I picked up some orders from there and there were not any issue but the last one (I am not accepting any order from there since then)in a cold Toronto day while I was rushing to deliver customers' orders I had to communicate with a a bald guy (appears to be the person in charge one) who is not only way too much rude he seemed to have a intention to make a scene, he was answering my question while yelling at me, handing the order by throwing at me. At first I could not understand the situation because there was no reason to behave like this (only reason could be that the guy is so unhappy with his life and sweared to reflect this to every happy humanbeing he sees :)) But this details are not important, the important thing is that I had to let people to know whether they have the most delicious burger on Earth or not, there was a guy who thinks he has right to yell a delivery driver who just tries to make end meets.. By the way I am a woman and not sure but maybe he only has courage to behave women like...
