Freshslice Pizza — Restaurant in Toronto

I ordered through their app and their delivery driver lied about delivering it to me, took a picture and then stole my food. When I call them and told them this instead of believing the customer who is obviously very upset, they instead told me that I was a liar. After 2 hours of not getting my food and being told I wouldn't get a refund or they would remake it and I would have to come down there myself and pick it up without any kind of freebies and also not being reimbursed for the delivery fee the delivery driver called me and said oh I'm in the lobby with your food, which he was not because I was downstairs in the lobby by that point. which also means that I was correct by saying he lied about delivering it and then took a picture and then stole the food. I had to go down to the store in person for them to give me my money back in person. I used to order from here all the time and this experience has made me never want to order from here again. So just beware. I don't trust the company that is so dishonest and cheap that they make it get to a point where a customer has to go down to the store in person after their staff stole from them. Don't order through their app. Maybe Uber drivers are a little bit more honest but their drivers are definitely not and their management made it so difficult to had...

I recently visited this neighborhood and stopped by this location of Fresh Slice Pizza, and I must say, for the price it was an outstanding experience! I ordered the medium Meat Lovers pizza, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The crust was incredibly light and perfectly baked, providing the ideal base for the generous toppings. Each bite was a delightful combination of savory meats that left me craving more.

To complement the pizza, I also tried the chicken wings, and they were equally impressive. The wings were a good size, cooked to perfection, and served with hot sauce. The flavor was delicious, with just the right amount of heat to satisfy my taste buds.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. If you're in Toronto and looking for a great pizza experience, I highly recommend Fresh Slice Pizza. I can’t wait to return for to this neighborhood and try other things...

OK, so maybe my timing was off, or perhaps the person behind the counter was dealing with her own problems, but I hope to be able to update this review in the future with something more positive. I think the problem for me was that I didn't know what to order - I went in for a slice and with only a couple of options available in the display case (pepperoni, feast, and what looked like a returned veg slice) I asked if there would be more slices coming out of the oven. Again, probably bad timing because the line had one person ahead of me who ordered a butter chicken pizza because she either ignored me, or pretended not to hear me. This customer though, was so helpful. At first I thought the person behind the counter was deaf because she ignored me when I asked about the free slice promotion. She responded to the customer who was waiting patiently for his pizza order and then turned her back to me, again. At this point I just wandered...
