We’ve been meaning to visit this long-time gem in the Annex. We’re really glad that we finally made it happen. First and foremost, based on the delicious double cheeseburger, the fresh and fabulous BBQ Chicken Sandwich, and the friendly, welcoming service this place would rate a full five stars. However, the onion rings - while crispy and tasty - were really oily. Another 10°F in the cooking oil would gave made a huge difference there. And while the poutine is good, it’s far from the best in Toronto (as some claim). The base of fries was great, but the gravy is pretty ordinary and they use cheese rather cheese curds. $55 for the food, two ice cold Cokes, tax & tip. Great value for money. Recommended.

What a lovely gem this spot is. It’s one of those places where you feel at home and that you know everything is made with love. Also time stood still here as the decor reminds you of the 80’s but that’s completely a plus! The prices are extremely affordable and you get great value, as the quality and taste are not compromised! We ordered the banquet burger and rotisserie chicken sandwich, both with fries and gravy to go. Reminds me of proper Greek diners that used to exist when I was growing up. Both sandwiches were delicious and the fries were crispy on the outside and pillowy on the inside. Just perfect . We will definitely be back again and again.

I have been coming here since I was a kid with my father and sister. Their food is amazing and has that at home feel. The owners are absolutely lovely, welcoming, friendly people who put a lot of care and love into what they do. It makes this place feel like a second home. I love getting their chicken with their spaghetti and fries. And their poutine is one of the best especially with some mayo on it! Chefs kiss. Thank you so much for your years of hard work and yummy food.

Cannot go wrong with coming in here for some food ! You’re not only getting amazing food but amazing customer service. You get treated like family whenever you walk into that door they will always take care of you and serve you nothing but the best food for such an unbeatable price! This is a true Toronto staple!! I’d recommend this place to ANYONE looking for delicious home made food with a touch of love that you can taste! Theres Is not one bad choice in the menu! Also the burgers are just delicious especially the banquet burger , they really give you that old school charbroiled taste that is really hard to find these days....
