I went with my mum to celebrate a birthday milestone and it certainly was a treat. As someone who appreciates art and culinary flavours I can say this place is a hype.
In a nutshell, this Indian fusion restaurant offers a captivating culinary journey through inventive flavours and vibrant presentations.
I had tried their introductory four-course dinner; the Singapore-inspired coleslaw served as a delightful introduction, balancing textures and flavours expertly, from the refreshing crunch of rice paper & softness of the cucumber strips to the tangy kick of the tamarind dressing.
Each bite told a tale of the chef's creative prowess and journey, influenced by renowned mentors and a passion for unconventional ingredients. I can't recall all the ingredients Nalin shared, but I remember it being a unique ingredient that connected his past experiences to this dish. ( This is what made the evening, Nalin took his time to explain the dishes, and allowed my mum and I to connect his passion to the dishes being served)
The second course elevated the experience with an Avocado Chaat and Tandoori Wings duo. The Avocado Chaat intrigued my mum and I as it was the perfect fusion of Indian street snack elevated with creamy avocado base. The Tandoori Wings impressed with smoky depth and a subtle spice rub.
The main course, featured Butter Chicken and Dal Makani rice bowls, continues the culinary adventure with colourful presentations and harmonious flavour combinations. ( These are a bit spicy, but certainly held lots of flavour) However, the highlight of the evening lies in the second course items and a mocktail boasting an ombre of lychee and elderberry. Not only visually stunning, but this drink enhanced the dining experience with unique flavours that complemented every dish on the menu.
To conclude, it was a memorable dining experience, blending traditional Indian flavours with innovative twists and impeccable presentation. Each dish is a testament to the chef's culinary creativity and dedication to delivering a feast for the senses and I can't wait to be back for the avocado chaat and their aloo & smokey chicken tikka kathi roll that I had tried on...
Read moreWent on a Saturday night and we were seated right away by the window. Server/bartender was super attentive and made recommendations. They know the dishes well. Customer Service -Superb 10/10
Started off with cocktails. Gully had wide selections on cocktails. We had Negroni, Cosmo, Manhattan and two beers. Cocktails were NOT lame. Pretty strong and well made. Worth your bucks. They offer this $2 beer they call it a $2 dollar pint. Small for a regular beer drinker but I love the size and it was enough for me. Good for a chaser. They have top shelf drinks you might wanna look out for their expensive Tequilla and Japanese whiskey. Drinks-10/10
Food was flavorful and well balanced in spices. Texture was there. The avocado chaat is their version of many different chaats like Bel Puri or Samosa chaat. This one is modernized and it kinda puts you in a twist. Creative. The dip was wow! Tandoori wings were juicy, good quality meats. The beef bowl needed more meat portions but the beef itself melted in my mouth. I got that buttery taste, and not overcooked. Loved it with onions and rice. We were full but couldn’t get enough with the food as we were still drinking. Ordered skewers platter. You get (4) diff kinds in a platter.Malai soy, Chicken, Paneer skewer, and lamb skewer. The lamb skewer didn’t disappoint. It was a spot on lamb kofta. Food is scrumptious and flavorful here but not too intense if that’s what you’re looking for. I can pair my drinks with the food very well so I enjoyed a lot. Food- 20/10
This place is new and they’re already a gem is what i can tell you. The chef is the owner and they were very generous to give us a Tres Leches (i think thats how’s called) or a milk cake. It was phenomenal!!! Dessert played with my tastebuds a little bit.
I’m definitely coming back 💯 my tastebuds just made a high-five to my...

Chef Nalin, server Ishita, and the team made my sister’s birthday celebration one for the books! An amazing experience from start to finish. Chef Nalin is so kind, humble, and hospitable, and leads his restaurant with those same values. The team accommodated our group of 12 with top-knotch dedication, flexibility and attentiveness to ensure we had a fabulous time.
The service and food surpassed all expectations. Chef Nalin’s culinary creations truly deserve a 100/10 rating—each dish was bursting with flavour and presented with such finesse.
The food was phenomenal on all fronts. I had the tandoori wings, avocado chaat and dip, and street corn for starters, butter chicken bowl, and smoky chicken tikka kathi roll with masala fries for mains, and the stolen bombay gin and gully martini for drinks, all of which were fantastic! I especially enjoyed the avocado dip and the chicken roll! The drinks are also a must try!
To top it off, Chef Nalin and the team surprised my sister with an AMAZING birthday presentation, which included music, sparklers, tres leches cake and gully martinis for the table! All the little details were simply flawless, from the food, to the cool atmosphere, to the birthday special, to the music, to even turning the lights up when we were taking photos with a polaroid camera for better lighting and dimming them when we were done. Honestly it does not get any better than Gully.
SO happy to have celebrated my sister’s birthday here. This is a team that really cares, goes above and beyond, and knows what true hospitality is all about!!!
I wish Gully continued success, they deserve it!! Will definItely be back to try more of Chef Nalin’s tasty...
