Hazukido (Fairview Mall) — Restaurant in Toronto

The experience was extremely poor at the Fairview Mall location. We ordered a citrus refresher, Yashima Brown Sugar Milk Tea with no ice, and a warmed up hot dog croissant. The hot dog croissant was handed to us first and it was cold, despite asking for it to be warmed up.

Note: they only use half of a hot dog for the croissant. The exterior of the croissant was crispy and flaky but the inside was dry and crunchy (over baked).

We waited another 10 mins for our drinks and still did not receive our drinks. My friend walked up to the cashier and asked and they looked confused and said they handed it to another customer. They did not apologize!! By this time, the croissant was already extremely cold and we couldn’t enjoy our pastry with our drinks.

When they did make our drinks, my yashima milk tea tasted like water. For $7, a cup of boba sugar water. I ended up not drinking it and threw it out as they already had to remake my order for giving it away in the first place. I let the staff know, but they did not seem to care or apologize and I do not have time to keep waiting for a drink to be re-made.

I’m honestly extremely disappointed and will not be visiting the Hazukido Fairview location again.

TLDR: drinks lost, drink was watered down, croissant was over baked....

We saw a post on social media to make reservation at this store. This restaurant was a total disappointment. The store front was small, they do not have capacity to service in store customer for sure. We arrived to our reservation, only to see no table for us. And all the 3 tables available already have other customers just seated down and beginning to eat. We were asked to sit at 2 smaller table with only 3 chairs for a reservation of 5. No one attended to us for full 15 mins? I don’t know the food quality but this store surely does not have capacity to service in house even if they have not messed up with our reservation. Came for Afternoon Tea promotion, it was not easy to book a reservation, I managed to book a time slot, received email confirmation. When I got there, I was told it was canceled, I didn't get any notification that it had been cancel, but the stuff said they can accommodate us

The food and service was fine, I can't say it's a must try, the food I felt it I could have easily made something similar with things I can get at costco
