Aug 25, 2025: 2nd visit 4/5 stars The The Thai food at Som Tum Jinda (Fairview Mall) in our 2nd visit was good.

The Khao Kor Moo Yang which is grilled pork jowl with fried egg on rice was delicious with a generous portion of the grilled pork jowl :)

The Larb Ped which is the minced duck, fried duck skin, onion, ngo gai herb, garlic, chilli, and mint was good and flavourful. The crispy rice noodles were okay. One downside to this dish is the plating which made it difficult to grab the crispy rice noodles without spilling it all over the table.

The Kai Tod which is the fried chicken wings was crispy and surprisingly very delicious :)

— May 20, 2025: 1st visit 4/5 stars The Thai food at Som Tum Jinda (Fairview Mall) was good.

The Kor Moo Yang (Grilled Pork Jowl) was awesome. The pork jowl was soft, tender and savoury. Would definitely recommend.

The Som Tum Tod (Fried Papaya Salad) was interesting but good. It was interesting to have the papaya fried which gave it a nice crispy texture.

The Pad Woonsen Cha-om with Minced Chicken (glass noodle, egg, garlic, acacia leaves) was good and delicious.

The Thai Iced Tea was good. The tea was strong which was good. It could have used a bit more sweetness to make...

This restaurant truly goes above and beyond. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth the hostess was charming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We came with our toddler and she was having a tantrum and quickly came to our side and offered us one of they're specialty fruit drink, she was the star of the show

The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between vibrant and cozy, setting the stage for what turned out to be a truly memorable meal. The highlight for us was the Som Tum Jinda a dish that absolutely burst with flavour and freshness. The balance of spicy, tangy, and slightly sweet notes was spot on, with crisp green papaya, juicy tomatoes, and perfectly roasted peanuts adding the right amount of texture and crunch. You can really taste the care and authenticity in every bite.

Each dish was packed with flavour. It's rare to find a place that combines friendly service, nice presentation, and such bold flavours all at once.

We left happy, and already planning our next visit. Recommended to anyone looking for food that is flavourful with...

📍 Spicy, savoury, and seriously satisfying! 🌶️🍜 Had lunch today with the crew at the newest Michelin-guide recommended Thai gem in @cffairviewmall 🎉

From the moment we walked in, the beautifully modern space with Thai colourful flair set the tone for an incredible experience. 🌿✨ The service? A perfect balance of hospitality—warm and efficient, never rushed, just right for our group lunch 🍚 Every dish was bursting with authentic flavour, 🍛 and the spice level was totally customizable, from half a chili 🌶️ to full-on 🔥🔥🔥 (dare you to try a 10!). Honestly, we couldn’t pick a favourite because EVERYTHING was incredible, but here are some must-try dishes we had: • Larb Ped (Duck) 👌🏽 • Tum Khaophod Salmon (Pla Ra*) ⭐️ • Panang Chicken Curry with Rice ⭐️ • Khao Kai Yang (Grilled Chicken on rice & egg) 👌🏽 • Pad See Eew (Beef) 👌🏽 • Pad Woonsen Cha-om (Minced pork & minced chicken) 👌🏽 • Kor Moo Yang (Grilled pork jowl) ⭐️ • Tum Thai** (Papaya salad) ⭐️

A true hidden gem inside the mall, conveniently located in front of the T&T supermarket near the TTC...

Absolutely delicious (but spicy) food. The restaurant is named after papaya salad so you'd be a fool not to order that when you come here. They have many options without peanuts for my friends with nut allergies. The Tum Salmon was my fave; the one with the crab, Tum Puu Plara, was also good but it was a struggle to enjoy the crab due to the shells. We only got 2 chilis for the salads, but I was still dying lol. The salads were also so flavourful that the Pad Woonsen Cha-Om (glass noodles) was almost tasteless if you eat it right after 😂. The Pad Kra Pow was also super yummy and is my go-to dish as a nut allergy person. Also you can't leave without getting the mango sticky rice (which also looks like a little lobster hehe) Everything we ordered was so yummy, but we could've went without the crab papaya salad since it was the same base as the salmon salad, and the salmon also tasted better. Service was also great and welcoming. Definitely will be back to bring more friends and family so we can try more things 😂
