UPDATE: I think it’s only fair that I update this review, as it was originally 4 years ago. This Healthy Planet location has done a pretty big turnaround. They actually will answer the phone more frequently if you call to ask about a product. They have completely gotten new staff and when you go in the store you are gladly helped by one of those staff members. Staff members are friendly and willing to help you find things immediately. They still have a lot of the same great products and have added new products in the store. Kudos to management in revamping the environment and providing better training at this location. I frequent the store much more often now, as I feel welcomed and customer service is very good. Thank you.
OLD REVIEW: 2018 I have been going here for about 3 years. This place is hit or miss...sometimes you go in and get a smiling face and a "hello" and other times the staff act like you are invisible and they are clearly avoiding you. They do have some people that do not belong in customer service, as well; I specifically asked the Indian girl (sorry don't know her name for sure ?Aisha?) nicely for what I needed. She did not bother to look in the computer or try to walk around to look for the product; she just flat out said, "we don't have that." I took the initiative and 15 minutes later after scouring the place found what I was looking for on my own. I go back to the counter where she is the only one there and she "pretends" to be studying the computer; I finally have to say something. When I confronted her about finding the product, she just looked at me like a deer in headlights and didn't even respond to me. Really? I checked out and told her to have a nice day -she didn't even give me any salutation. WTH? If you try to call ahead to see if they have a product, good luck with them answering the phone. Then you may still drop in and see everyone who works there doing a bunch of NOTHING. Answer the phone people - that is trifling not to - you are running a business! In fairness, I have had days where I go in and there are kind, helpful people with smiling faces; just not enough days. The product is pretty decent there, which is why they get 2 solid stars. Read moreOne stop for all I needed. I went there as a troubled person but there staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I had a list of things my nutritionist asked me to take but had no idea what they were. So I asked this Indian lady on floor she greeted me and very nicely helped me with each product. She even told me what they were used for and the timing to take them. Well I really liked her patience and how she helped me understand that why I am asked to take it. Since it was all new to me. I think, I would have given up if not found help. I have been to many stores, but never seen such nice staff who shows you around and help you make a better choice. She even recommended a few products to take with the stuff I was taking. Best thing was she told me pros and cons and about the products and different companies because I asked her what's the difference between them. She explained each formulation and gave me choice to select. That's where I loved it because she didn't force me to buy anything. She told me everything and said depending on your priority you can choose. So I did chose the professional one but because I knew what's the benefit of it. Read moreI called them twice to see if they could put something on hold for me (I was quite clear patient respectable I might add) telling them I had someone coming who didn't have a lot of time. The first person who answered was calm, patient and willing to listen; however, he told me that he would have to send me to someone upstairs since he works thedownstairs department. After about a minute, this young woman answers, very rushy, impatient and wouldn't listen nor allowed me a chance to ask for any other products I needed on hold. Once the woman told me "she found it" she literally rushed off and hung up-to-date quite rudely. Once the person I had coming arrived, it was just sitting on the counter, not on hold! Let alone not the brand I specifically asked for twice!! The person I sent ended up having to look around the store, asking where this product is just to do the same job I was calling the store to help with in the beginning! Thankfully the person I sent was able to find it but due to lack of time they wouldn't be able to look around the store for any other products that I was hoping to also have pick up.
