Dear owner: In light of your kind and prompt response, I feel there may be a light on your business's future, once corrections take place.

I have to tell you that another of your employees, a lady who worked also for the previous owners and frequently wearing a hair cap, has been very good to us when passing by to buy some bread. I understand she was home the day of our last visit. I wish you all a great 2025. Thanks again, for taking care of your customers.

Planned to be a pleasant return to an old family tradition, was an ugly disaster. Right from the beginning, the mature (probably well in her 50's) female-blond coloured hair attendant, impatiently answered our brief question about certain bread she said they don't sale anymore. That attendant insisted on us to quickly decide what bread we wanted. It was 7:30 am, yesterday Saturday December 28th. and the place was empty! Why the rush? An about 80 years old lady customer came in. After asking a question to the same impertinent woman, this last grew angrier and began almost yelling at this humble person who kept on trying to be nice. We were already at our table and I almost got up to intervene and stop the blonde person's attack. My adult kids stopped me. We ordered and ate as quickly as possible, to leave that miserable place. The only good memory had is the lady waiter's warm service. Is very sad that the new ownership has failed to maintain the high level of service Bagel Plus was famous for, a place I DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NEVER...

Me and my family have been going to Bagel Plus over 40 years. From family outings, weekend breakfasts, and unfortunately family shivas. We have always enjoyed the food and have recommended it to many people. One Saturday we went in and asked for our usual bagel with cream cheese and asked for it not to be hot. The attitude that we received from the staff was appalling. We walked out of the restaurant in disbelief. We went back in and asked for the business phone number so that we could speak to the owner Gerald. We felt that it was important he would know the counter experience that we received. We tried to phone him many times and we did not receive a call back. The following Saturday we went back in to order our usual breakfast, as we due every Saturday and Sunday and we were told by the staff that we complain too much and that they’re not going to serve us anymore as per the owner I was completely blown away. 40 years of dedication and one complaint and this is how we are treated. The best part is when we walked out of the restaurant and we’re sitting in the truck with our jaws hanging down another man walked out of the restaurant shaking his head. He turned to us and said he has never been anywhere where he was treated so rudely. He said there’s so many other bagel places around and this is the last place he will ever come to again. This is the first review I have ever written. I’m a very easy-going individual but service like this and lack of respect had to be noted. Shame on...

I have been coming to Bagel Plus with my Dad for decades. We love it here and treasure this little gem in the Bathurst/Sheppard area. Each time we walk in, it’s as though we are visiting our second home! The owners greet us by name, as do ALL the servers. The all-dairy restaurant has an extensive menu with great variety. The portions are very plentiful, and always so tasty and delicious. Most of the patrons are also long standing customers, which makes it a great place to eat and catch up with friends! The owners pride themselves on their stellar reputation. I would like to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to ALL the wonderful servers…..they are attentive, they listen, they are loyal, certainly love what they do as evidenced by the smiles on their faces and the joy in kibitzing with their customers. All our servers check on us during our meal. “Is everything ok? More coffee, more tea? Yesterday, we had the pleasure of having the cheerful & lovely Donna as our server. Our little chit chats and banter prior to placing our order, sets the tone of laughter and good cheer. She takes her job seriously, wants all her customers asks, be delivered as ordered. I look forward to Donna serving us next time we are in. In my opinion, she deserves to be recognized for her hard work, dedication and all with a smile on her face! Well done Donna.
