SCAMMED TWICE — Avoid This Place

Our table got scammed twice by two different dancers. It was our first time coming to Lancaster and we had high hopes since it’s one of the higher-rated clubs in the area (though they’re all garbage in the GTA). Total mistake.

First scam: My friend asked for one dance. The dancer took him upstairs into the “VIP” section without saying that would cost extra. She started dancing just as the song was ending, then as the next song began, she asked when he wanted to stop. He reminded her that he clearly said he only wanted one dance — she still charged him for two. Straight-up scam.

While we were sitting at our table processing what had just happened, another dancer came over offering “below the belt” favours and randomly put her hand under my shirt and pinched my nipple. I thought it was funny at the time, and she went up on stage for the first shower show of the night around 11. After her set, I asked for a dance and she tried pulling the same trick — said we had to go to the VIP room and that she “doesn’t do less than 3 dances.” I wasn’t falling for that and pushed back until I finally got what I actually asked for.

Then it somehow got worse — she wouldn’t even wait for the next song to start. As soon as she started, I caught a whiff of her and nearly threw up. It was that bad. I was instantly turned off and had to go to the washroom to clean myself off.

I went with a group of friends, was sat and met with hostility from the server because some people in our group didn’t want to order drinks. So there is pressure to purchase drinks or else you’ll be met with hostility/rudeness (Which btw we did get drinks but needed time to decide) and we watched a few girls dance on stage but then was left uncomfortable because the DJ called out the only guy friend in our group and was pressuring him to go on stage even though he clearly didn’t want to. When the DJ couldn’t get him on stage, he personally went to our table and was pressuring the rest of the group to say yes on the behalf of our guy friend instead of asking him directly. Singled him out multiple times, making comments such as “if he isn’t into women, we’ll change that tonight”, “this is the night we’ll un-gay him”. Just a morally wrong thing to say no matter anyone’s sexual orientation. We ended up leaving since the DJ/manager who approached wouldnt leave us alone despite us saying our friend isn’t comfortable and his response saying “it’s a strip club, it shouldn’t matter”. And he also turned to my friend and asked if we’ve ever been to a strip club before, and as a matter of fact, yes we have, multiple times and never have had an issue like this. Where do I begin. Dancers were fantastic. Everything I ever wanted. Staff will rip you off in a heartbeat. I got 1 beer from the waitress on the floor. I gave her a $20 she left to go get change and never came back. When I asked her for my change she said “ I gave it to you already” which was a lie. Then I decided to go to the VIP rooms I had to pay $20 to go there I was given a green wrist band no problem. I asked if I only have to pay once was told yes. Well I decided to go again and the same guy I paid before stopped me and said I don’t remember you where did you get the wrist band from. It was only about 1 hour since I bought it. I told him I got it from you he said I don’t remember giving you one. Another lie. So I paid again but this time he took the $20 and put it in his pocket and gave me a new wrist band. I will never go back this was my first tome going there and will be my last. It was last Monday for the wet T-shirt contest. Sorry you lost a potentially good good customer all because your staff are crooks and like to rip off...
