I have been eating from this restaurant for over 25 years whether the order was for pick up, for delivery or in dining I have done it all. I order over $46 dollars worth of food for my family and they told me it will take 45 minutes to an hour well it was late. Quite frankly the timing didn't bother me, but when the food arrived and I open the lid of the chicken fried rice right away there was smell and silly me decided to dish some out and immediately after tasting it I knew it wasn't fresh. Then when my child said it, I knew it really wasn't my taste bud I try calling the restaurant immediately and no one answered it took me 4 different times calling the restaurant before a lady answered when I told her I just ordered food from them and it is not fresh she insisted that it was and she guaranteed that it was fresh and I said to her for over 25 yrs I've been ordering from you and she said it is fresh and there is nothing she can do for me. Now that's not good customer service. Some people think that they can speak to others anyway and think that's alright. The wings tasted okay, but the chicken fried rice was not good for consuming. Maybe it's good for them to consume, but for my family and I it belongs in the garbage. I will never eat from that restaurant again. Terrible customer service and the food was awful on this occasion. If someone which to eat from this place at least order through a delivery service at least you will not lose all your money if the food is gross. I am so done with eating from them and any other restaurants, because honestly you just can't trust how they are preparing the food we are putting in...
Read moreAvoid this place like the plague. On Christmas eve, we placed a pickup order at 6pm and were told it would be ready in an hour. We arrived an hour later and the front lobby was packed with people waiting for their orders. We paid cash and proceeded to wait.. for another hour. During that time, the agitated mob compared notes and we figured out that the restaurant wouldn't actually start making your order until you paid for your food. People who paid over the phone with the credit cards had their meals ready ahead of others who had been there waiting for over an hour.
The restaurant was doing this as people would arrive, see the lineup and then just bail on their order. I can understand their desire to address this issue, but to put it on the customers by not informing them of this is unconscionable. The wouldn't confirm that this is what they were doing, but the angry mob that night had all but confirmed the suspicions. These people ordered takeout so that they could spend more time with their families on Christmas Eve instead of cleaning and cooking. They were rewarded by selfish restaurant owners with a two hour wait for food and an hour wait at their restaurant.
Don't reward this kind of behaviour. Don't order from...
Read moreThis one star rating is for the woman on the phone who took my order for delivery. My family has ordered from this place a couple of times, and we never have any complaint. The food is good, and the delivery is prompt and I always tip our delivery person who is always so nice. Today, after a very hard and stressful day at work, I decided to order some takeout from here. I called and was greeted by a woman who seemed annoyed that i had even called. She sounded hurried and angry ( she shouldn't have to answer all those call by herself, the poor thing, I could hear she was answering other lines also) she may not have meant it, but to me I felt like i was being yelled at, I'm almost in tears after what should have been a simple transaction. (Also, a side note I was told I had to order two extra eggrolls, even though the menu says delivery is for orders of 23 dollars or more. Only one eggroll was needed to come to this amount.) I really don't appreciate that i was spoken to with such disdain, when all i wanted was to order some dinner. A word of advice from a customer who wants to cry right now she's so upset; get that poor woman some help answering those busy phones, that's too much...
