DO NOT EAT THERE - CENTIPEDE IN SALAD!! Our family with a toddler ate there today. We ordered a chicken leg meal and only when she was almost done the meal, we found the most disgusting centipede looking worm in the salad. This is serious food safety concern, and even after I raised the concern with them, they simply refunded me and did not take my concern seriously to toss out the contaminated salad. I had to ask several times before they said they would get rid of the salad batch, who knows if they actually did it!? By the time I left to call Ontario Poison Control, I still see them serving people salad from the same contaminated batch. They have turned a pleasant Sunday to one where I am waiting to talk to Poison Control as centipedes are known to carry diseases and can be venomous. I was at the mall sometime back and I ordered from this place at the food court. I ordered the grilled lamb chops meal and chicken souvlaki. I had finished most of my meal when I found a bug in it. I shared that meal with my husband as well as my 15-month old. I took the meal to the store and they were apologetic and wanted to return my money. They said they “try” to wash their salad well and it’s probably from the salad. How will returning my money help and how will that ensure that this doesn’t happen again! I just can’t believe a food joint serving at a food court at a high end mall like Sherway can have this kind of hygiene standards! I am disgusted! Have been coming to this location often. However had a hair in my food today and took it back, and the lady working in the front went to the back and other staff members kept coming out to stare at me. She calls the owner and passes me the phone who say's where is the hair, or you need to show it. I tell him how I do not want a refund I just wanted to let them know. Pass the phone back to the lady who stares at me and is like after " what do you want me to do". They acted like it was free food that I never paid for, to be honest I wish they would have apologized once or even offered to replace it. It's not about the money. Will not be returning.
