Just had an amazing and humanity faith restoring experience here. Kind lady at the front was helping me with my Salmon Poke Bowl order, and for my four toppings, I asked for corn. She put some on my bowl, and took a second, smelled the bucket of corn and said "Im so sorry, this corn is off i cannot serve it to you" and threw out my old bowl. She apologized so many times for not having any fresh corn. I am AMAZED at the customer service! There are SO MANY places that wouldve just served me my corn, and let me go home to either find out its spoiled when I am comfortable and ready to eat, or just let me eat it, and I get sick!!! I dont even care about the missing corn, I am just so happy she told me knowing I may be upset, but taking the risk for my health!!! I thanked her for telling me and regretted not giving a tip earlier when i paid!! Absolutely so happy with the service and she reccommended the pickled radish instead which was amazing. Thank...
Read moreIf I could do a zero I would. Was in the mall late. Was starving and craving some sushi. Noticed that they were selling off the remaining sushi. Was in line behind a women when the counter lady said "any two for $10". So the women bought two sushi packages. I came up to the counter and she told "me buy one get the other for 1/2 price". I asked her why did they other women get two for $10? She smiled and said the price is buy one get half off. So disturbed but hungry i looked at the sushi and picked up two packages . No prices marked on the packages. I asked how much and the lady was very clearly making up prices. I told her that this is not the way she should conduct business. She smiled and said " its my business". I put the sushi down and left. If thats how they value customers I can only imagine the care that goes into their food....

Unfortunately, the sushi caused GI upset for me - I cannot eat fried foods and the sushi contained yam fried in tempura. I buy a lot of sushi, and in my experience, the elements are fresh (chopped, or cooked/steamed) and when fried elements are included, the ingredient listing typically makes it identifiable (eg., 'yam tempura', or 'shrimp tempura'). And yes, I realize that I can ask about these things, but I haven't encountered this issue before. All the best. My complaint would not change my desire to return to...
