New York Fries Sherway Gardens — Restaurant in Toronto

Came by on a Saturday early evening,I was going to eat at New York fries haven’t had food from there is a very long time…. When I approached the store a tall female employee came out from the back and with NO hat one NO hair net she has long black her it was in a pony tail but it was hanging over her shoulder. I was disgusted by the improper dress code presented to me as I was going to order. I wouldn’t eat there if that is how the staff took care of themselves, I could only image how they handled the food if they couldn’t simply tie their hair and wear a proper hair net or something to prevent hair from falling in the food. I am very disappointed with COVID still being a thing you would think they would be smarter? And safer? Especially because their handling food? Maybe I am wrong and that’s too...

I ordered a premium hot dog combo with bacon and cheese and a bottle of water.

I thought it would be a cheddar cheese slice they used on the hot dog!) It was a messy cheese sauce that ended up getting all over my shirt.

My hot dog was luke warm (at best).

I wanted to upgrade my fries to a poutine ... over $7 for a small order!

The bottle of water was room temperature or barely above! NOT cold at all!!

All in all ... I spent $18 for dinner and was still hungry.

My boyfriend went to Jimmy The Greek and ate like a king for $22

I will never come back and do not recommend.

WAY OVER PRICED for the amount of food you ACTUALLY receive!

I am sure I am coming across as a "Karen" but with the amount of money spent I expected more...

Terrible service. Got to the front to order, the staff were standing there talking, completely ignoring that I was standing in front of them waiting to order. I gave them a few mins because I didn’t want to be rude. Then I order and she misheard me bc she was talking. I told her this is not what I order, she rudely says yes it is you asked for a poutine. My boyfriend then said she ordered cheese fries, you were talking and not paying attention. She then gives me a dirty look. Then they gave me the fries and did not fill up the box. This is not the first time I’ve ordered from New York fries and I know what a small looks like. They should not be working In Costumer service job, if they don’t like to be friendly. Completely...
