Jimmy The Greek — Restaurant in Toronto

If I could give this store 0 stars, I would! This location has gone down hill. I used to come here so often and the food was amazing, but lately the chicken has either been dry, undercooked, or bad to the point where I felt sick after eating a chicken souvlaki meal. I don’t know if it’s the chicken itself or the lack of patience cooking it. I have previously worked in the food industry as well and I’m aware of how fast the service needs to be, but the staff at this location is always in a rush to finish an order which leads me to my next point. I just had the worse experience at this place. I ordered my meals, but the guy with glasses at the salad section was occupied as he was talking with a friend. He completely messed up BOTH my meals by putting ingredients I specially said not to. When I tried to get them to change it, Ayana (not 100% sure if that’s the name) was very disrespectful. She continuously tried to give me the meal I DID NOT ask for and when she had to change my meal, she a rude attitude. If i’m paying $15 for one meal, the least it could be is what I asked for. Terrible experience today at this location. I was with my 10 year old son who has been a Jimmy the Greek fan since he was 4 yrs old. I was ordering from Villa Medina my stuff and told him to go to Jimmy the Greek to get his order. I spent about 10 mins getting my order then went to see how my son was doing with his. When I got there he was half way through the counter, and I saw that the guy wearing glasses and a hat skipped him. I told him it my son's turn and in a very rude manner he yelled go to the back of the line. My son said he did the line-up. So, I told him that my son did the line-up, and he kept yelling to go to the back of the line. My son felt bad and ignored because he was a kid. YOU GUYS NEED TRAINING ON DEALING WITH KIDS. All he wanted was his small serving of rice with chicken which takes less than 2 mins to be served, and he spent 10+ mins trying to get his order, so don't tell me that he didn't line-up. Avoid Jimmy The Greek Fairview Mall! It’s been two months now, they have reduced the size of their Chicken Souvlaki by a lot. Never in my whole entire life have I had Chicken Souvlaki that is that small! One piece of their Chicken Souvlaki is the size of a Chicken McNugget from McDonald’s!! They have also thinned-out their Chicken Fillet! The owner of Jimmy The Greek Fairview Mall is maximizing his profit margins by providing less meat per meal to each customer. However, what he doesn’t understand is that he is going to put a significant dent into their annual profit margins! Their Chicken Souvlaki was so small that I ended up eating my rice, salad, and potatoes on its own. I ended up finishing the Chicken Souvlaki in a matter of 4 minutes!
