Do not use this ATM if you want to make cash deposits, ATM ate my 100$ bill and cheque. So I tried to deposit a cheque and a few 100$ bills. I noticed the ATM hadn't counted one of my 100$s, so I pressed "cancel transaction", The deposit slot opened and I took the bills out, except one was disloged at the back. I have small hands, so I tried to pry it out with my fingers which didn't work. I hurt myself in the process when the deposit slot door jabbed into my hand. The ATM refused to return my bankcard and cheque too (the deposit didn't show up on my bank statement fyi), so I couldn't step away and ask a bank associate for help. Then the alarm went off, which was pretty embarassing for me. I'm not badly hurt, but in my opinion these ATMs are a liability if they 1) injure customers 2) are inaccurate at counting. This was extremely anxiety-inducing. The employees at the branch were great and so helpful, so my review is not about the customer service. Even they couldn't get my cheque or the bill out. They did everything they could to help me resolve the issue.

A unique, authentic retro brick building nestled in the heart of Riverdale. The interior of the building pays homage to the 90s with a classic retail bank look and cozy feel. The frontline staff greeted me immediately. Conveniently located on Queen Street, this location offers direct streetcar access and quick entry onto the DVP / Gardiner Express. The surrounding areas low scale context, concentration of small businesses and fined grained lot pattern contribute to a distinct sense of place. Supported for inclusion with the City of Toronto Heritage Register. Yes - I recommend this business.

Been a TD customer for 20 years now. But never seen such a poor/slow service like this branch. This branch never had enough employees working and line moves so very slow. Please do better. I had 3 people in front of me leaving because of the long wait…this is ridiculous. Do you want money or not? Seriously

This review is based on One entire full year of coming to this branch. I come here a few times a week. Having been to over 30 branches in Toronto and doing business banking at a commercial level… I can confidently say that this is one of the worst branches I have been to in Canada where the level of service is below standard.

There are only about a few competent staff members and they are not in the front. The front end staff is incredibly undertrained and many times make mistakes due to lack of experience…Mistakes as in, transferring funds from incorrect account/ Converting fees from wrong account/ Wire payment mistakes … even our access cards become deactivated as they switch around permissions with out checking the user profiles.

On one of my visits it took them over 45 minutes to figure out what was going on and in the mean time my car ends up getting smashed on their property (and of course there are no cameras), with homeless people freely on the premises. They do nothing but shrug their shoulders.

With zero sense of urgency any little simple task seems to take forever … you could probably get a heart transplant faster then your Business banking done. I come here because my office is close by but it’s been nothing but a disaster... after a year you would think they could get it together. The worst part of all is that when they are confronted about it they get on the defensive side, justifying one another...

I would not recommend this branch to anyone especially if you are doing business banking.

Banking has never been this...

I have never been treated so very rudely In any professional setting let alone at a TD bank where I have otherwise only received the best of service at other branches. I went in today to get a US credit card as am traveling soon. It was 3pm and they close at 4x LThe lovely girl at the service desk was unable to help me. I politely asked to speak to a manager as maybe something could be done. He stomped over pretty aggressively and said “I cannot not help you and you can do it online or call Visa. Cool ?” Why are they working there then? His tone of voice and the way he spoke to me while he then went on to say that no mater how much money I have with TD and they could not help me today was unbelievably condescending, rude and frightening. I apologized (for what I am not sure) left shaking and upset. The female teller is not to blame at all - but the manager should be taught that it is not ok to speak to anyone this way. His manners or lack there of were disturbing, I felt like maybe this was a weird television set up candid camera situation. I would not recommend anyone use this bank and by looking at the past reviews they need to find...
