First and foremost be aware that there was a flat 15% auto-gratuity despite our group of 5 fitting into one table (maybe it’s a flat 15% tip regardless of the party size?), and that the service they provide being subpar would be a severe understatement. Our server, Vicky, was rude to us (talked behind our backs in Mandarin--which we also understood, basically tossed our food and utensils onto the table as opposed to placing them, glared at us while serving us, etc.) throughout our stay; maybe she knew she could get away with anything she did because she told us about the automatic 15% tip? Who knows.

Secondly, the food was terrible. Their best tasting food was the seaweed salad, and that’s because you can buy it frozen from elsewhere and thaw it yourself. In a way the food at this restaurant is amazing because it’s so hard to make these everyday ingredients taste so bad. The sashimi was unevenly and inconsistently cut, and for lunch there is a 8 pieces/person/30 minutes rule that we weren’t told about until after we ordered our first round of sashimi (which was also under the 8/person amount). When we expressed our grievances and confusion about the rule, our server (Vicky) suggested to us that we should’ve come for dinner instead in a not so pleasant manner. Love that for her.

At the end we expressed our grievances towards the manager regarding the service (or the lack-there-of on Vicky’s part) and the manager waived the auto-gratuity in light of the mistreatment that we had experienced during our meal. This was the best, and only good highlight to our dining experience.

I will not be returning to this establishment, and I highly recommend that you also spend your money somewhere else. It won’t be hard to find a different restaurant where you will have a better experience than you would have had if you had the displeasure of dining...

The food and atmosphere of the restaurant are good however, the service was not very pleasant. You order food on an iPad (they don’t instruct you how to order by the way) and then a person comes and slams the dish on the table and walks away. I mean this is not even a 3 second interaction, they don’t give you and opportunity to ask anything without shouting at them to come to the table. As we’re sitting a couple beside us asked for the bill at which point the waitress’s first words were “what do you want to tip 15% or 20%. Correct me if I’m wrong but a tip is customary and should be left for the customer to decide, especially given that there is barley any interaction at all. Placing the food on the table is bare minimum, that’s literally your job. Nonetheless, now it’s our turn to pay the bill and we leave a 10% tip (we payed in cash) the waitress then turns to us and says “this is Canada we tip 15% to 20% the tip you left here isn’t enough, you liked the food right so you should tip more” she proceeded to acted offended and demanded we pay more. Keep in mind the lady demanding the a larger tip wasn’t even the person who assisted us from the beginning, she collected our plates at the very end. Also, what does me liking the taste of the food have to do with service? It’s a restaurant the food should taste good….. overall I would not recommend this restaurant if your looking for a...

This place made my top 3 worst restaurant experiences. The moment my family walked in, we were ignored. We were seated and the waiter disappeared. At that time, we were 1 of 4 sets of people at tables. No one was waiting to be seated. We are a family of 4 and all other tables ate and left before us. We were celebrating our daughters birthday, and I had mentioned this to have no acknowledgement. In addition, my children had food allergies and the waiter seemed upset that i had mentioned this. He actually never checked back once even when we called for our waiter for help or explanation related to food allergies. I have never had such a negative reaction to food allergies. I was so frustrated because no one wanted to address my black family's needs. dependant on who was placing the food at our table, it was almost like the food was thrown at us. We spent extensive periods of time waiting for food that either never came or wasnt great. Although i said thank you, there was never a response from the waitress/ waiters so i stopped saying thank you. The only waitress that asked if we needed anything and actually was polite was at the very end but at this point, my daughters birthday dinner had been ruined, and I just wanted to leave. Needless to say, i will never return to this chain. Ive definitely experienced better treatment and far better tasting...

i have came here multiple times hoping for it to be better and it always somehow gets worse. to start, the spicy salmon roll will have 2% salmon and the rest is filled with avocado- if i wanted an avocado roll i’d order one. whenever i eat here i leave feeling sick to my stomach, i used to think that was normal (maybe just eating too much sushi) but no other all u can eat place has made me feel so bad. and let’s get to the actual customer service: the servers are not friendly. the manager and this one older woman are nice and will crack jokes with me and my boyfriend, i will give them that, but the younger girls are absolutely miserable. they’ll slam the food on the table with no eye contact or smile, no “enjoy your meal” no acknowledgement when i say thank you every single time and item gets brought to me ⁉️ i’m big on tipping, and i always did here because i’m just like that; but i will never forget the time it was really bad service and food quality so me and my bf decided not to. our server loudly called us out saying “the tip isn’t included”. that is just so inappropriate and childish. super disappointed bc of how close this all u can eat place is to home, but going ANYWHERE BUT HERE will be always worth the travel 👎👎👎

Heartbreaking… We’ve been coming to this location over the last year and a half. We come only on occasions because it’s expensive but usually WAS a great experience. Sadly, that was not the case. Service was extremely slow and it was not busy. It was a Tuesday night and we have experience on what to expect doing rush hours. Dishes were being delivered almost one plate at a time in the beginning. It was so slow we made preemptive orders so we wouldn’t go hungry as plates were finished. Some dishes were so delayed that were showing up overlapped with the new orders 30 minutes into dinner. Even the food portions have shrunk considerably! The short ribs got shorter believe it or not… the beef used to be strips but now they’re this odd looking kibble platter. It was such a disappointment because we brought my wife’s parents to celebrate and told them how good this restaurant was. I’m not sure if they’re training new people or struggle to make profit with inflation cost but the experience was so poor I don’t believe we will return to this location. When you pay $100 per couple, you expect a certain level of service and this was a heartbreaker.

First time here and won't be the last. The food is absolutely amazing! They have such unique items you can order. It is an all you can eat with tablet concept. They have really cool looking decor as well. Prices are of your usual sushi restaurant. Service was good considering how busy it was. Second visit was so-so. We had ordered red tuna sashimi not realizing there was a limit of 2 pieces per person. The manager came running to our table to tell us that we should have seen it when ordering. Our mistake, but why limit it when you provide unlimited red tuna sushi? The service was good, very quick and fast for the food to come out. What was shocking was something that happened to the table beside us. A young couple had ordered sushi rolls and asked the waiter if they contained mango since he had severe allergies. The waiter responded with yes, but you ordered them so you have to eat them. Umm what? Again, didn't happen to us but shocked to hear that kind of a response when there was a severe allergy involved.
