Walked in today for some takeout because the picture of their chili chicken momos was irresistible. I had never eaten here before so I asked for some recommendations as I ordered. I ended up getting: - M6. Chili Chicken Momos (of course) - $15.99 - C1. Chili chicken dry - $14.99 and - G1. Veggie Gyathuk (soup) a $12.99 The wait was about 15 minutes and they have tables for dine-in so I took a seat. I told them I was in need of some spicy food, and they didn’t disappoint. Chili Chicken Momos: first time for me. I’ve had Momos before but not chili chicken ones. The dough wasn’t too thick or too thin, not super soupy but enough to be super juicy. Spice level was perfect for me. Will order again. Chili Chicken Dry: wetter than I am used to when I go to Hakka restaurants and get the dry-spiced dry chili chicken. That said, flavour was amazing and was the best, non-Hakka dry chili chicken I have ever ordered. Doesn’t come with rice, but I am pretty sure you can just get an order of steamed rice to pair. Veggie Gyathuk: was pretty flavourful for a veggie soup. The noodles were sturdy and made it on the 10 minute walk home and were still firm when I devoured it. One of the sauces they gave was a slightly sour sauce that I dumped in to balance the flavour out a bit. The broth was a good consistency, not watery but light, which I was happy about. I’m definitely going back. The staff were very nice, helpful, and quick (I watched one of the staff attend to the dine-in tables).

I decided to skip a fancier restaurant and eat more authentically at a mom and pop place or a food truck. This looked like kind of in between and as it was surrounded by other food, establishments in a fun looking area thought it would be very authentic and delicious. Totally wrong. I got butter chicken and rice and samosas. Literally the easiest Indian food anyone could make. The butter chicken was like a soup with probably 2 tablespoons size of hard lumps of chicken. It sloshed like soup it was so liquidy and oily. Totally not what butter chicken is supposed to be. I ordered samosas and they were hard like they had been fried and left all day and then fried a few more times. They came with a sauce that I’ve never had with Indian food before. It was literally a disgusting meal. What a waste of $23. Plus, the picnic tables that are in the middle of this food court are not cleaned very often as there was crusted and dirty food all over it plus a pigeon landed on the table while I was eating, which I mean, might be kind of exotic and fun in a sense, but by the end of that gross meal, I was just at the end of my rope and I left. A Young woman serve me. I don’t know if she was Karma or just a helper, but she didn’t give me an option to give her a tip on the tap machine so I handed her a five dollar bill and she looked completely shocked. Maybe I should’ve taken that as an omen.

Lunch for two on a Saturday. Place was not very busy, though we came around 1:45 and a few tables were cleaning up. There are some seats near the window where you can kneel if you're looking for that kind of experience. Otherwise you'll get normal tables. Each seat comes with fork and knife, but they can offer chopsticks with a cute design. There's a lot of cultural decoration to look at while you wait, and you may be in for quite a wait. They have lunch specials that you can take advantage of. Note that they have specials listed outside near the front on a sign, as well as a separate list of specials on a piece of paper inside. I ordered a plate of shabhaley and a plate of chili momo. They tasted great, though the chili turned out to be ketchup or tomato sauce, rather than simply spicy momo. Can get pricey, $8.99 for three shabhaleys and $8.99 for the chili momo. I would recommend just getting the steamed or fried momo instead. One thing that really stood out was a jar of orange hot sauce they provide. I would put that in any meal if I could. The owner says it's very spicy but don't be afraid to try it since it tastes amazing. Another thing that stood out was the fact that the washrooms were well maintained.

If you want to get sick and waste your money then only eat at this place. The first time when I brought my friends to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday the food was edible.2nd time around, the service and food both were horrible.I was craving for momo today so went there to eat with my daughter and my friend's daughter.I ordered the jhol momo, chicken chowmein and fried chicken chowmein. As soon as I tasted a piece of momo with the sauce,it tasted horrible, the sauce was gone bad.I still gave another try. Then I brought it to the owner and told him nicely, this momo (sauce) is gone bad.He brought that to the kitchen, few min later he comes with the same sauce in another bowl and asks me to taste saying I lied. Not only that he didn't apologize for serving bad food,he made me feel horrible.I am never ever going to eat in the restaurant where bad food is served and they don't feel sorry for that instead tries to prove the customer is wrong.I eat momo every other week and this owner trying to tell me otherwise. What a pathetic person. Not only he lost me as a customer,he lost many that I would have recommended.I just got home and threw up couple times already.I probably got food poisoning.Only eat here if you want to be humiliated and get sick...
