Long story short the staff were being really rude to me for some reason and it kinda made my experience less enjoyable. Food was okay! I posted a pic of the receipt for pricing and the dishes we got. The mini dishes of tteokbokki and the gapche glass noodles were good but the kkanpungii had a super chewy dough with barely any chicken inside, not worth 26$. My bf didn’t like the dough but for me If it just had less dough I would have enjoyed it. I just found it to be too much, seemed like they were trying to make the portion look bigger. Basically paid for dough. I’ve had it before and it wasn’t like that so not sure if this is there style or maybe I had gotten almost identical dish in the past, either it wasn’t for me maybe others would enjoy There was also confusion about the menu, if you look at the pics it states each dish comes with rice except a few, we had gotten a dish that didn’t come with rice but under it said a set of sides comes with but apparently it’s just for the top portion. It was the fact though that someone came to ask if our food was good we said yes just waiting for the chicken then I i had actually asked to clarify if mine came with the sides and she said yes but it never came. I asked another staff if it came with it she said “no” in a rude tone and walked away fast before I could just simply order myself some sides if that was the case. When i finally did order it, it took forever for just 2 sides- kimchi and bean sprouts- to come I did ask my waitress for more clarification and for some reason she told me someone was coming but nobody did , oh well When I was paying i forgot to add my tip so I took the card out and asked her to redo it so I can input correctly and she rolled her eyes at me so at that point I just gave 1$ and deciding ya I’m not coming back.

The service and food are terrible this time! We came here for a late night dinner (10pm) for a few times already, but for sure it is our last time! We got our table - 6 people - next to a group of 13-15people. The male server gave us ONE jar of iced water to start and took forever to place our food orders. When he finally came (with an unpleasant tone), we asked if we could get 2 split bills (3-3), his reply was "sorry we don't do split bills on weekends." ..alright..but they did it last time on a Sunday.. One of us was gonna order a sushi roll, he said it would take 40mins. Excuse me? YES, 40MINS for a roll of sushi! We still ordered it. When the food arrived (after 10-15mins), we had the empty jar there (he didn't take it away until we physically asked for it!) The sushi order actually arrived in 25mins (15mins faster than he said.) When we were about to get our one bill around 11pm... We heard and even SAW this group of 13-15peple having split bill in front of them. YES, 13-15 OF THEM WITH THE SPLIT BILL ON THE WEEKEND! The same male server brought our ONE BILL and asked if we need the machine for credit card. When we said NO, he left right away. Thus, we decided not to tip them this time! We paid $129.25 in cash and left the store - even when we left the store, they did not even bother to look out or say anything like they used to. Anyways, don't waste your money and your time eating here!

Good Korean restaurant with a nice patio area and lots of food options in their menu. Their indoor dining area is nice and roomy too although they always get busy. I’ve eaten/ordered pickup here a few times mainly for their corn cheese which is by far, my favourite of everywhere I’ve tried in the neighbourhood. I noticed that in some places, their corn cheese has more mayo than cheese and way too sweet. But here, it’s so cheesy and creamy and really good! I also love their banchan! They’re all so tasty and you get a variety too. They also change things up so you may not get the same ones every single time. Maybe I’ll edit this review again to add pictures of the side dishes next time I eat there (and there will be a next time.) There are better pork bone soup out there but I like that the meat is tender and still tasty, just not the best I’ve tried. Lastly, I enjoy the service. The servers are really nice and helpful, even when you’re just doing pick-up which I’ve done a few times during lockdown. Great neighbourhood restaurant overall! Will definitely be back!

My family and I have been going to this restaurant since 2018. It used to be pretty good but recently the staff have been very rude and the service has been terrible. We went there on Boxing Day and even though they weren’t busy, we couldn’t get any attention from the staff. The girl who served us the food was very rude, she gave everyone “the look” and started handing the dishes to the person sitting closest to her, expecting him to pass the plates around to the right person. We asked for the bill and waited 10 minutes before giving up and walking to the register to pay the bill. She was trying to tell us that there is a mandatory 15% tip for more than 7 people, even though we only had 6 meals and one person did not eat. We have tipped 30% at this restaurant before but we tried to explain that we weren’t satisfied with the service at all but we still tipped $10 on a $180 bill. I accidentally left my wallet at the table but I when I came back to get it the same 2 girls told me that they don’t know anything and they might find it tomorrow and give me a call. I have an airtag on my wallet so I started searching for it and after telling her that I knew my wallet was at the other side of the counter she said that she had just cleaned the bathroom trash and it might be in there. I know for a fact that my wallet was on the table when we left and no one from our table went to the bathroom at any point. No one ate at the table after us and they cleaned the table right after we left. She expected me to open the bag and get my wallet and long story short I had to put up an argument to get my wallet back. It is absolutely disgusting to throw a customer’s wallet in the bathroom trash just because you feel like you need a better tip. I was lucky that I had an airtag on my wallet otherwise I could’ve lost all of cards and IDs. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I don’t know what happened to this place but they have lost our business. Would give zero...

One of my favorite 24h places, but today was the worse experience I've ever had.

I walked in with my family (6 adults) at 530pm and was seated at a booth. The restaurant was empty so I asked the server if we could get a bigger table. The server said she needed to ask her manager. The manager came and said no we could not get a different table. I told her the restaurant was empty.. so why couldn't I get a bigger table? We were 6 not skinny adults. After a couple minutes having words exchanged, she finally gave us a TABLE WITH 6 CHAIRS. The server comes and tells us that because we have 6 people we will have to pay them an automatic 15% tips. Thank you for giving us an irritating experience before having dinner.

The food was good like usual. When we were almost done, I asked for the bill. I accidently pressed skip instead of the percentage on the machine so I told the server I will give her cash instead. While some were still eating she stood there staring at me waiting for her tips. We were planning on leaving it on the table but she made us so uncomfortable that we grab a $20 (14% tips) and gave it to her. I guess that wasnt enough so she stood there staring at us making us more uncomfortable. We gave her some change before she finally walked away. It was the most uncomfortable feeling we've ever had. I definitely won't be going back for awhile. If I crave their food, I'll just order take out from now to avoid these...
