What to try?! The rainbow tapioca milk tea, the mango green tea or the strawberry tapioca milk tea. They are also very well known for the Mr Sun Green tea which is a Heineken green tea. There’s no alcohol in it though! ;) I personally love original milk teas the most so everywhere I go, I always try the original first. And I like Mr Sun’s milk tea because the tapioca is made just right. Not too soft and over cooked, it’s just right with the right amount of chewiness and texture. The rainbow comes from the fact that all the tapiocas are flavoured! They make their tapioca in house and the flavors include strawberry, mango or brown sugar! For a large, it’s quite big for $6 so if you can’t finish, you might consider sharing with a friend! But if you’re like me, and want bubble tea all to myself, you can most definitely finish a large too! Comes in medium or large. The mango green tea was light and refreshing and I liked that there was mango tapioca on the bottom of the drink along with Konjac jelly. Good to eat and drink at the same time right? I thought it was a very good combination with the right flavors of jelly in this drink. If you don’t like milk based teas, this one might be a good one to try since it’s just tea based. For the strawberry tapioca milk tea, it’s something very different! Tastes like pocky sticks but in a drink form! I can taste bits of strawberries too. The drink is strawberry flavoured and comes with strawberry tapioca. Very nice color contrasts between red, pink and white. Good for a nice picture too! As for the Mr Sun’s green tea, this one is unique to Mr Sun. Using non-alcoholic Heineken’s as a base, it’s mixed with green tea to give you this really great drink for those who love Heineken but is too early to have one during the day, or for those of you who are willing to try new drinks! The only downside to this drink is that there’s no tapioca that goes along with it because it won’t taste good and usually comes as just a drink. The tapiocas are made on site with no additives. The teas are made from tea and not powder. They use cane sugar and not white sugar. And tea is replaced every 4 hours with a certified water filtration system. LAST TIP?! This teashop is currently located inside Pacific Mall at unit D60. You can pick and customize your drink with tapioca, jellies, the amount of ice and the amount of sugar. This is the first location in Canada and they plan to expand in Canada so watch this teashop open up near you or if you’re going to be at Pacific Mall, stop by and give them a try.

Got the milk milk tea (no that's not a typo) with their hand crafted mango tapioca and their passion fruit mango juice (says passion fruit mango tea on their display) with hand crafted brown sugar tapioca. The milk tea is not good. It could use some work as it wasn't as creamy as I thought milk tea would be. It could be that I'm too used to the Chatime milk tea. The milk tea doesn't stand out too much and ditto for the tapioca. Their hand crafted mango tapioca didn't have a very strong mango taste but it was much softer and easier to chew compared to regular tapioca. I finally understand what the craze is with the hand crafted tapioca. The passion fruit juice on the other hand was super flavourful and is paired off quite nicely with the brown sugar tapioca. Like the mango tapioca there isn't a very strong brown sugar taste. This was my favourite one between the two. They originally got my passion fruit juice order wrong and gave me milk tea instead of the juice. They corrected it afterwards but since they just opened up I'll let it slide. It seems like they got overwhelmed with the amount of people that were lining up to try out this new bubble tea joint at Pmall. I got those during their soft opening which was a BOGO 50% off so my total was $10.40 for 2 large drinks.

The tea designs are really off the charts!! Very different and unique items you can’t find in other places. I tried something I have never had before, which is the cheese foam. I think it is an acquired taste and may not be for everyone. In my opinion, not my cup of tea... no pun intended. But, overall the tea was pretty good tasting until the foam started blending with the drink. No fault of the shop, but my own curiosity. The tapiocas are really nicely textured and you can tell it’s quite fresh. Had the rainbow tapioca and individually the tapiocas taste great. The mix might be different taste for different people but a must try. The man working behind the counter was really nice and super efficient and fast at making the drinks. If you are driving, it’ll be very tough to find the spot. It’s tucked inside a little alcove pretty much, so if you think you have the right address and don’t see it, you’re probably at the right place. Great job with the finishing touches of the drinks and different types of distinctive drinks only found here. You want something special or even a good old fashioned bubble tea, try this place out!

With so many bubble tea places popping up in Toronto, it’s so hard to choose one to really stick with and often it can hard to choose one with so much variety. Came here with some friends to try of their bubble teas here. We came here on a weekday evening and it wasn’t too busy here. You are probably wondering, it just another bubble tea place like the rest of them located in the mall. Prior to coming here, I’ve never heard of Mr. Sun but they’ve been around since 1999, mostly known in Taiwan and this their first one in the Canadian market. Located in Pacific Mall, Mr. Sun strives to make delicious unique drinks and making fresh tapioca.

We had the opportunity to try some of their drinks from their signature series including: • Pineapple Green Tea w/ Basil Seed • Mango Green Tea w/ Konjac • Passionfruit Green Tea w/ Tapioca & Jelly • Heineken Green Tea • Grapefruit Green Tea w/ Lots of Pulp • Red Sun Special • Rainbow Tapioca Milk Tea

Here’s the rundown on these drinks:

My personal favorites included the mango green tea with Konjac. I really enjoyed this drink as it gives a nice refreshing green tea flavour taste.Loved the green tea flavour and this is quite unique to Mr. Sun. I think my favorite drink of the night was definitely the Heineken Infused Green Tea drink! This twist on a drink that is considered their unique drink which is the Heineken Green Tea. This drink is made using a non-alcoholic Heineken mixed with green tea. With a first sip, I was very impressed by how it tasted. If there was one drink at Mr. Sun that stands head and shoulders above other bubble tea businesses is definitely this particular one! I highly recommend this drink for the ambitious bubble tea drinker or anyone willing to try something new bubble tea drinks! rainbow tapicoca made for this drink was quite chewy, flavorful and delicious. Mr. Sun strikes to make fresh in house made tapioca for their drinks which is great news for any boba lover and it means no added flavours or preservatives are added. The Red Sun special had some interesting flavours to it. It definitely had a strawberry taste it as you could taste it was like a jam. It was quite good and definitely one that I would go back for!

All the drinks we ordered were simply a work of art and they all tasted great! They all look so good to drink but we did anyways! Overall, a very nice bubble tea that offers some different drinks then the rest. Will definitely be back for more!!! Definitely give it a try if you happen to be...
