I've come to this restaurant for the past decade every time I'm craving soon tofu. Their food is very delicious for price and quantity. However I'm not giving them five stars because of their poor customer service. Within not even 30 seconds of my husband and I sitting down, a server comes to take our order. We haven't even opened the menu yet. After asking for a few minutes to decide, another server comes to ask us the same thing within a minute. Their service is definitely efficient and I know this is not fine dining but I'm not here in a food court either. I felt so rushed. When most of our food was finished and I put my chopsticks down, a server comes and starts taking all the empty dishes away. My husband was still finishing one of the side dishes, but was unable to finish because the server had already taken the dish and everything else away. It's just a few pieces left, who cares if that's going to garbage right? Next they immediately came over with the bill. ...there was no line up and less than half the tables has customers at this time. We never asked for the book. The time was just before 9pm and they don't close until 10:30pm....did we offend them so much they want to rush us out like this? I understand if we were in Asia we would be rushed out because of the volume, but there was no volume tonight (Tuesday evening) and we are in Canada here. Our culture's norm is good customer service. I'm very disappointed with...

Used to dine in here pretty often. Today I parked my car at the back. There was an empty spot. However they no longer allow the customer to use the back stairs to get into the restaurant. It was cold and freezing outside. Even though I walk all the way around the street and enter from the front door. After I done eating my dinner. I started to feel stomachache. Not sure about it was too cold ( I put my jacket in the car) or the food. So when I left washroom I was asking if I could just use the back door. The guy who speaks Chinese was pretty good, he doesn’t have the authority to allow me to use the back door. However, there were another Korean young guy came and talked to me so rude. “ You said it was before. And now you have to go to the front. “ I am really mad at his attitude ( I already decide to go to the front door) So I just ask, “ Why?” He replied with super bad attitude “Before was before.” I also work in customer service related industries. There were a lot of mad customers and I think still need to manage my attitude towards them. Because that’s what I am paid for. I don’t have any more energy to argue with that guy. So I left without a word. I was so mad of that guy. Not because of the owner doesn’t allow customer to use the back stairs. I didn’t feel I was treated as a customer. Will definitely come back. Just to make a complaint...

How is the food? the food was good, the bibimbap was probably one of the nicer tasting ones I’ve tried. However, the downside is that I find the portion a little small, so I was still kind of hungry after eating it. the side dishes were okay, and they give your side dishes before your main food arrives which is good. The seafood soon tofu is pretty good, the soup is not flavourful enough for me. However, they give you purple rice by default which is a plus. (everyone loves purple rice right?) and finally to address the name of the shop, their tofu tastes pretty good. so a plus if you like tofu ( I am not that crazy about tofu)

How is the service? The service is fine, nothing too exceptional, typical service you would expect from korean shop in Toronto

Other things? they do have parking at the back, I didn’t drive there but since the servers asked me a few times did I park at the back, I assume you can park at the back for feee

Would I recommend? if you enjoy Korean tofu soup, I think you will find this place quite nice. I personally probably would not come back too often because I am not too crazy about the type of food. maybe if the bibimbap had a larger portion and the tofu soup had more flavour I might come back more often. personally for me is a high end 3 star, but based on the type of food, I think...

One of the best Korean food ever with very nice and polite staff. You’re gonna love the food and environment give it a shot. You won’t regret it. I would love to go one more time again and I will. Are you going to have a lot of nice bowl and noodles 🍜 . I can’t recommend this spot enough-it’s a hidden gem! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming, with a clean, cozy atmosphere that instantly felt like home. The staff? Absolute rockstars-friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there. They made every visit feel special, whether I was grabbing a quick bite or lingering longer. The food-or drinks, or service, whatever they do-was top-notch. Fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and everything prepared with care. Prices are fair, too, so you get great value without skimping on quality. If it’s a café, their lattes are divine; restaurant, mains hit perfect; shop, the finds are unbeatable-like, why leave? Honestly, this place nails it every time. It’s become my go-to for any occasion, and I’m already planning my next trip. Don’t sleep on it-come check it out and see for yourself why it’s so awesome! That’s about two hundred words, tweak it with specifics if needed.

Disappointed! The worst Korean cuisine we tried in Toronto! The waiter suddenly added cold water into the hot pot with half bowl rice without seeking our opinion. We asked, “what was he doing?” He said the rice with cold water was for us to clear the throat after meal, however we never be treated by any waiter in Korean restaurant like this which made the rice disgusting 🤢. We couldn’t eat them anymore. Moreover, the “seafood” in the soup were in the SMALLEST size we could never imagine! Not Worth! We ordered Spicy Pork with Rice. The menu with photo shows that the food is delivered on sizzling plate, but finally come with a cold plate which made us feeling surprised. They admitted that the set was served on sizzling plate in the past but cold plate for now. So why didn’t they delete the unmatched photo to make confusion? My friend asked for a bigger table when he arrived and stood on the entrance. The waiter said NO for 2 persons, but the other 2 persons came later who sit on the bigger table directly, whereas the waiter allowed them to do so. Overall, food quality and restaurant attitude taught us NEVER COME BACK AGAIN!
