I recently had the pleasure of dining at Yuan Chinese Restaurant, and I must say it was a remarkable culinary experience that left me thoroughly impressed.

From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. The elegant decor and attentive service immediately made me feel welcomed and valued as a guest.

The menu at Yuan Chinese Restaurant offers a wide array of authentic Chinese dishes, each bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The attention to detail in the presentation of each dish was truly commendable, showcasing the chef's skill and dedication to their craft.

One dish that particularly stood out to me was the grilled fish, which was cooked to perfection and served with all the traditional accompaniments. The flavors were exquisite, and each bite was a true delight for the taste buds.

In addition to the delectable food, the staff at Yuan Chinese Restaurant were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.

Overall, my experience at Yuan Chinese Restaurant was nothing short of fantastic. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable Chinese dining experience. I look forward to returning soon to indulge in more of their culinary delights.

Cheers to great food and...

🔥 Authentic Sichuan Flavors in Toronto! Finally found a legit spot that delivers true Chengdu-Chongqing taste. 📍5437 Yonge St – clean, cozy, and stylish interior, perfect for family dinners or date nights.

Top Picks:

Double Pepper Stir-Fried Chicken: Crispy golden chicken bites with super flavorful celtuce slices. Spicy, smoky, and addictive!

Kung Fu Spicy Kidneys: Classic Sichuan/Guizhou-style—tender kidneys, crunchy celery, and a perfect mix of pickled peppers. Approved by my Guizhou friends!

Fish Braised in Boiling Oil: Tender sliced fish sizzling hot on arrival, mild spice, savory-sweet balance. Great for all ages—we even packed the leftovers to eat with rice at home!

🌟 Huge portions, around $30 per person. Great value! Bonus: 50% off new dishes on weekdays! 💡 Tips: Spice level can be adjusted. They also serve milk tea and dessert to cool down the heat. Highly recommend calling ahead—dinner lines can be long!

A must-visit for Sichuan food...

I don't usually tend to post bad reviews because I understand that maybe I might have been at a place at a bad or busy time. With that being said, when I went to this restaurant that was not the case since the waiters were standing around by the counter, other people who came after us got served before, and the delivery guys were all picking up their orders. We ordered 3 meals which should have come within 5 minutes of one another but instead took 20 min and the last one took so long I had to cancel it.the staff did not communicate why it was taking this long and when I asked when the last meal was comming they said soon..it did not come soon. Now i don't know how long it takes to cook fried rice with pork but let's be honest, it should not take as long as it did especially when delivery drivers are picking up their orders first. Dine in patrons should take priority. I will not be returning...

This restaurant has maintained very good food quality. Recently they did a renovation - finally re-opened and I went there today first time after their reopened. Better inside, brighter, looks very nice. Same great customer services and good food! Yummy as usual. I like this restaurant, I’ve been eating for 2 years and they never let me down. I told out 1 star as one thing might make me not very comfortable - it seems that they don’t strictly follow the Ontario policy for vaccination. The waitress simply asked if we had vaccinated and that’s it. No required document proof. I took out my ID but they did not bother to check. Compared to this, another Korean restaurant I went does a ver good job on this, they checked in details for customers’ documents and cross checked the ID with vaccination record, which makes me feel safer. Hope Yuan could improve in this aspect. Other parts are perfect!

My wife is not a fan of Chinese food. However she was open to visit this place because I had seen the bbq area many times as I walked by. This is another North York gem! I am no expert on Chinese food, but tasted different, better, more flavourful, fresher, as if more effort was put into it. We had two dishes: ribs and prawns and the Shanghai-style pork noodles. Both delicious!! The ribs and prawns were spicy and great. Portions are quite generous as well. To order, you need to scan a QR code, select what you want from the menu and order. Highly recommended!! Can’t wait to go again. And what’s even more important, my wife is ok to go! :)
