I have only been here once. I came for a limited time curry which the harp needs to incorporate into their daily menu.

I was fully engaged by the owner, he attended to my every need while I waited for take out. He told me about his wife's special curry event and made me feel like I was a long time regular. I fully appreciated the experience and effort to be warm and welcoming.

To the reviews about the lady being rude to the children. That was me. I am the bartender. I never spoke one word to the children. I politely told the parents that they could not sit in the bar and drink at 1:00 am with a screaming baby and young children. The law is the kitchen needs to be open for children to be in the pub. This watering hole has been my go to pub for 5yrs. The owner, Mervyn, staff, patrons and food are amazing! If you're a regular, you're family... to all the negative reviews... you have either not been here, defied laws or are plain ignorant... to the guy who said no itemized bill... you were absolutely not ripped off.
