A local favourite café on the Danforth! The owner is super kind and the place is super nice with its fair share of regulars. The interior is lovingly decorated with plants, a painting of the owner, artsy decor, comfy seating and overall has a nice vibe. It is a calm space with lowkey but upbeat music that the owner plays while he works. A great place to chill or study! I came in to get some pastries for my sister and got a Hot Cocoa to go. The Hot Cocoa was one of the best I’ve ever! Rich, piping hot, and not too sweet. It was so perfect on a winter’s day like today. I wanted to get their famous brownies but they were sold out! Instead I got a ginger cookie and chocolate chip cookie, and my sister loved them. A family member of mine recently visited and snagged a brownie for me before they were all gone! I can confirm: the brownies were rich, chocolatey, luscious and super filling! The best brownies I’ve ever had. There were many customers inside who got their “usual” and the owner knew them by name. Truly a local gem of a spot! I’ll definitely be back for more Hot Cocoa and brownies!

Zav offers the best coffee and service in the area. It's either Zav or his partner who are working the counter and they are both friendly. I've tried their latte, cappuccino, and Americano. They were all tasty and smooth. His partner makes some tasty treats and there are always a select few to try. The biscotti is the best in my opinion, but on top of the biscotti there is usually banana bread and 1-2 other things to purchase. I purchased the treat in the picture a while back and it was also divine. They have juice and sandwiches too, but I've never tried those items. The atmosphere is great. The woman is an artist and her work adorns the walls, so you're drinking your coffee in a bright, airy gallery. The wooden chairs, floors, and tables are always clean. There is free WiFi. A little patio out front with some chairs, but the shop windows really open so every spot is a good one.

Needed to have a pause in my day and I ended up here. An absolutely lovely little coffee shop with a sunny window and chill vibes. I could see myself spending an afternoon here with a book or my laptop. Chai latte and chocolate chip cookie. Did not disappoint! Zav seems like a film maker, because behind the bar there were fascinating film posters. I'm interested! Should have asked about them but I guess now I'll have to go back. Very kind staff as well. Thank you for a solid place for a little respite.

I love your coffee and food and the atmosphere inside with your art is lovely. However, extremely disappointing that you have not allowed strollers indoors and I had a personal experience of you asking a small group of moms (including myself) to leave because of our strollers. Regardless of what your prior review responses say, pointing to rationale behind this being due to the weather (winter or rain), that was not the case in my direct experience. In addition, not allowing strollers is actually a violation of the human rights code. Piece of business advice: Please also always have your ramp placed outside - you not only appear unwelcoming to those with accessibility challenges, but are losing out on a tonne of business from local families due to this restriction! It’s extremely hard to carry a stroller over a ledge, oftentimes babes are sleeping in the strollers and no parent will go out of their way to hassle to grab a coffee and leave their stroller outside…. not to mention, strollers are also very expensive items. I hope you will reconsider and allow strollers...
