Don't typically post reviews, but doing so because customers will continue to be taken advantage of so long as we allow businesses to do so...I went in to order a coffee - ordered a $5.50 cappuccino as written on their board. As I went to pay, the cost was suddenly $6.50 (didn't say anything, just went along with it), and by the end, once I tapped, the receipt came out and it was $7.50. When I looked at it, a tip had been imposed...I still didn't say anything, because don't mind tipping (even though it was a take-out coffee). That being said, once the coffee was handed to me, I was absolutely stunned and felt totally taken advantage of...It was the size of a small, smaller than Tim Horton's small. I asked if this was the right size, and the barista said yes. You would think, that for $7.50, the least they could do is provide you with a large or XL coffee....Really?? Does the proprietor think they're more intelligent than their customers? The cup was unmarked, with a simple stamp on it - so there wasn't even the cost of branding for them --- the entire cup must have cost them no more than 5-6 cents and they couldn't even have the courtesy of providing a large or XL coffee for that price! Needless to say, I will never go back there again! See picture - the entire cup fit in the palm of my hand -...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis establishment is a pretty cool place with a magic sliding door that houses another business behind it; you wouldn't know it's there unless you're there at the right time when someone is waiting to get in. Anyways, I bought a loaf of sourdough bread and a chocolate croissant the other day and I liked both. The sourdough bread was delicious; it had a beautiful, golden baked, chewy crust and an airy, pillowy, slightly sticky middle (like any good sourdough has), it was fantastic! As for the chocolate croissant, it was good but I wasn't as enthused about it as I was about le pain. It was buttery and tasty, but I felt it was a little on the dry/hard side and lacked chocolate filling, it was tasty, though. I'll be back to try other things as I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe trillest. The inside felt like the depth of a dark forest and the staff are magical elves serving you God's best fruits in their sacred land so that you never want to leave... but it's COVID so I had to leave but I'm coming back for more beans to make my morning elixirs with every type of man-made milk known to man and its dairy substitute until I find out the best way to make musically-tasting drinks as good as their tomato sandwich. HOW CAN A TOMATO SANDWICH BE THAT NICE TO ME!? I may never know, but I think they'll tell me if I ask, but it's too late because I'm already addicted to the love and affection of their caffiene and nutrients and care... and that's FAKX, will only be scientifically proven over time. Sending love for your grind...
