Now that the holiday hustle and bustle is over, I have time to write an honest review of Parc Ave. Just before the holidays, my friend had a little birthday gathering for some drinks at Parc Ave, this was all of our first time going there and we will NEVER be going back, nor recommending it to anyone! She plans large-scale events (talking Live Nation size) and she thought to check this place out for her birthday to see if it's worth it to have on the list of places to hold various events in the future (after parties, etc.). To keep things streamlined here is a list of why I would not recommend Parc Ave: 1.) Extremely poor reservation services and lack of customer service. The place never got back to my friend about any basic questions she had regarding her reservation (e.g. is there a cover charge, what is the max size for the area, trying to add a person or 2 to the reservation, scheduling and timelines, etc.) No answer via phone or Email.
2.) Service is fairly slow for simple drink orders
3.) There is a lack of organization regarding billing. They tried to overcharge my friend, who was the birthday girl, without realizing that my fiancé and I had already paid for our drinks and her birthday drink (apparently the place is known for grossly overcharging guests). The waiter continued to disagree with her and her boyfriend insisting that we did not pay for any drinks. We did, and we paid via credit card right at the little table we were sitting at before leaving (we left just before everyone else). They did not even ask any other waiter to make sure, they simply assumed. Due to my friend being well-versed in dealing with vendors, end-of-the-night bills and parties, thank goodness she did not end up paying the extra amount of $130. I also sent her a copy of my receipt for the drinks my fiancé and I paid for as additional proof.
4.) The waiter was very rude to her boyfriend when she wasn't there, accusing him of not being able to afford the bill. This is an assumption that they racially profiled him, due to being a darker skin tone, wearing a baseball-style hat, t-shirt, and chain, and looked younger. However, they are mistaken as he works in finance for a large firm and does very well. They even threatened to call the police on him. As a gentleman who did not want to cause a scene at his girlfriend's gathering, he simply did not engage and walked away, only mentioning this to us afterward. As I said this happened when she was not around him. She is a beautiful white woman and they did not threaten her with calling the police.
5.) In general the vibe was all over the place with the music, as well as the clientele. The look and design of the place is nice but that's about it.
It's unfortunate my friend and her guests, including myself had a bad experience on a Sat night. Let's just say they lost what could have been a lot of business. They really need to have better customer service and a much better billing tracking system to...

Read moreI had a really disappointing experience at this place. My friends and I went for a girls’ night, but the security refused to let us in, claiming we were intoxicated—which was absolutely not true. One of my friends wasn’t feeling her best, but she was completely coherent and responsive. The security kept questioning her about how many shots she had and when she had them. She answered everything clearly and logically, yet they still refused to let her in.
Since I didn’t want to leave her alone, I also stayed outside. After about 10 minutes, I politely approached the security again, explaining that we were here for a girls’ night and just wanted to have a good time. I even mentioned that I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I also didn’t want the night to be ruined for no reason. They still didn’t let us in. In the end, my other friends who were already inside decided to leave as well, and we all just went home.
If Google allowed it, I wouldn’t even give this place a 0-star rating—I’d give it a negative score, not because of the restaurant itself, but solely because of the security staff. I never got the chance to experience the venue, so I can’t comment on the food or atmosphere. But as a business owner myself, I know how important it is to hire professional people who can assess situations properly. Security staff should be trained to make fair and reasonable decisions, not just hired randomly with zero experience and low wages to fill a position. I hope they hire more professional employees...
