Interior - cute and cosy, but def can say they borrowed many ideas from Sulbing, a successful Korean Bingsoo franchise company. Just a lot of things resembled with Sulbing to me including the logo, interior layout and etc. Not saying it is bad, but lack of uniqueness.
Why do they spill sauce all over the bingsoo bowl? It is simply yuk... so sticky and it is not visually appealing either. Staff girls are so unattentive and rude, very disappointing experience. Really unwilling to help, busy with their smartphones. 2 stars instead of 1 star because at least the bingsoo tasted okay.
---------- Just left an honest review few minutes ago, and the owner instantly replies saying that I might be a fraud from their "competitors" -whoever they are- just because I wrote a negative review about their shop. But it is the truth from my own experience, I am just a student who likes to try out different/new dessert shops. If I were you, I would rather apologize for poor service of your staffs and reeducate them for better service. Changed 2 stars to 1 star because of the owner's...
Read moreI’m not sure Id return here again. It wasn’t very welcoming and I’m not sure if it was a race thing? I walked in and they left the cash area for a while. Eventually they came back and I politely asked for something and with a very dull tone and expression they said they sold out, didn’t offer any suggestions or anything. We left but I always wondered if she just didn’t want to serve us. Either way if there had been better service she wouldn’t be leaving customers uncomfortable and doubtful.
Update/confirmation:
Hello. I just saw your response now so apologies for the late reply. Yes I am positive it was this location. You state you checked security cameras for such a subtle exchange but I had not stated the date my experience happened. It was months prior to my review. I saw the store on UberEats and remembered my experience and as it was bothering me I decided to share it.
Upon looking at other reviews I see some others also received subpar service. I think it’d be best to put more time and effort into working on that...
Read moreHopping on the Korean shaved ice bandwagon that Cups started, this place tries but is nowhere close. The shaved ice was melting so fast and basically becoming ice cream; the mochi was so stale, it tasted like it had been sitting out for a few days. The one redeeming quality was that the green tea shaved ice had a very strong and pretty good matcha flavour, unfortunately because of the previously mentioned melting issues, it was basically green tea ice cream.
We should have taken the extra time to drive to one of the Cups locations.
(edit in reply to owner review) - I'm not affiliated with Cups in any way, just that in my opinion, their product is superior. Maybe your business was having an off day, as my wife and I were looking at yelp reviews before coming, and you guys had a 4 star rating on almost 200 reviews, so we expected much better. Also, this is how you welcome bad reviews? You should go try your mochi right now to see what I'm talking about. If you still think that tonight's mochi was fresh, then I'm at a...
