Nowadays, you can't walk around a mall and ask for drinks that cost under $5. Everything is mad expensive, which is why the lines at McDonald's and Tim Hortons are so long. I just don't want another Ice Cap or Pop lols. I went to Love Me Sweet because a guy was holding the 20% Off Sign. He got me there, Asians always go for discounts. Love Me Sweet is actually known for their desserts, namely their fluffy cakes (similar to Uncle Tetsu). I've had their cakes before and the consistency is denser than that of Uncle Tetsu's. Which one is better? I think they are along the same scale.
Anyhow, I ventured into this place because I wanted a Bubble Tea. I didn't feel like playing around with Sugar and Ice levels, so I took the leap of faith that everything would be okay. For reference, most Bubble Tea shops add WAY TOO MUCH sugar so customers always ask for 50-75% sugar (so less sugar). While I don't think their Bubble Tea can beat out larger chains such as Cha Time and CoCo, they are...
Read moreI'm glad I went by this store because I've been meaning to try the cheesecake forever!
The cheesecake is pricier than uncle Tetsu at $12.50 per box but they come in anther chocolate cheesecake flavour. I went with the or original as the staff mentioned that it was the most popular of the two. Suffice to say these did not last long at my household. The cheesecake was light and fluffy which is bad because you can easily consume it all in one sitting.
They sell other items such as the cheese tarts to. I'd be interested to try the matcha one or the chocolate...
Read moreMe and my wife tried the ice creams which were $10 each. So naturally we figured they would be nice ice cream cones. We got the Tiramisu and peanut butter ice cream cones. It took them 20 minutes to make the two cones, and the ice cream was already melting. the cones had holes in them so by time you got just threw 1/4 of the cone everything dripped out and melted. After paying $22 for two cones this was a terrible experience. Honestly you get better ice cream...
