Manchu Wok — Restaurant in Toronto

we ordered two noodles and beef and an asian lady was taking my order her customer service was awful and i was not satisfied one bit, later after we tried the food it tasted disgusting, it was dry, tasteless and rubbery i’ve had manchu wok before and it tasted nothing like this. this place definitely had the food out for a while. we went back and asked for a refund and this south asian lady who claimed to be the supervisor started giving us attitude when we were having a mature conversation. later on she said she couldn’t refund it as it was “empty” when the only thing missing was a few pieces of chicken, we ended up getting the refund for only one after they called security because we told others in line that the food was old, as it most definitely was. the worker lady also kept saying we need a receipt to return the food but they never gave us one. we told her that, and she mentioned they must’ve threw it out in the garbage (right next to her), and that if we want to we can go through the garbage to look for it. we told her we would and to give us the garbage can and she started yelling and saying no. like what are we meant to do here? the whole time she was being so rude and demeaning, saying we don’t know anything about food service and that by rules she can’t give us a refund… which is weird because i’ve gotten a refund from food places before if the food has zero quality. not to mention it was untouched other than 2 pieces of chicken eaten. anyways, she kept trying to convince the security guard that we ate half the food but any person with eyes could see ALL of the food was there. noodles untouched, beef untouched, and just a couple pieces of chicken eaten. even the security guard was confused on what she was on . anyway she ran away to the back and the security guard convinced the other worker to give us a refund. like i don’t understand what the point of this was.. she called the security guard and he was literally on our side too. we asked for her boss name and number and she wouldn’t give it. lol anyways don’t go...

Even though the food was fairly tasty, it was not what I ordered. Instead of beef & broccoli, it was beef & huge chunks of green pepper, which I cant eat, swimming in a pool of liquid. There was no orange pieces with my chicken but still tasted good. Also on the uber app it showed for the one selection there was the starch and a another choice in one of the little takeout boxes,which by the way is the reason I choose to order from Manch Wok. It came in a large plastic container stuffed with noodles and some pork. Now while I realize that some people appreciate large portions, I just end up throwing food out which is why I ordered the noodles and pork in what I thought was to be in the boxes. And I said as much in a note. Also got charged for egg roll which was omitted. Probably trying to get rid of food at end of day. Bad habit. Anyway just thought you should...

I wanted a meal deal and specifically pointed at the menu. The lady who is indian, they were all indian, charged me for a drink and tried to give me the difference in coins even thought i paid in card. I insisted to get the full refund and rebuy the item but she kept saying she didn’t know how to and she couldn’t do it. Finally i just wanted the whole refund in cash and she was continuously arguing with me when it was unnecessary, telling me to own up to mistake when it was clearly their fault she should’ve taken her own words and gave me the refund right away she kept asking why i wanted the full refund in cash now when i didn’t wanna accept the change, well clearly it was because of their bad service, who would wanna buy from them. as I left she...
