Mary Brown's Chicken — Restaurant in Toronto

I will never forget my Amazing Customer Service experience in this branch. Lauren the lady in the counter gave me a BEYOND AND ABOVE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I order a chicken meal deal for take out and she even mention a better chicken meal deal that is better for me especially I am buying a meal for my kids dinner and I told her if she could put it in a bag because Im taking the bus and subway on my way home and she even offer to put a tape on the bag to make sure that my food is secure and safe when I go home. I always love Mary Brown Chicken but its always a great feeling when you buy something and you get a good customer service.People like Lauren is an asset to Mary Brown and I hope the Managers will appreciate her kindness and positivity and beyond and above customer service. I was hoping for more when I stopped in for lunch. What I was really looking forward to was the chicken sandwich; it seems hard to find a good one in Canadian fast food chains. It turned out I was in luck given it was Monday and the signature chicken sandwich was discounted. I ordered that and a small side of taters. The restaurant was clean and the staff were courteous. I ordered my sandwich spicy.

The food was not what I was hopping for. Especially given the amount of people in the restaurant; I was expecting better food. The taters were cooked fine and they were bland. The sandwich was also bland. Even with the spicy option, I found it surprising how little flavour there was. I had been hoping for a nice crunch when I bit into the sandwich. It was a very average chicken sandwich. When I consider what the price is for that sandwich on days other than Monday; I would have felt ripped off had I gone on...

I bought a 4-piece meal combo to go this afternoon. It was $13.99 plus tax. It was just less than 3 minutes drive from my house. I went home and discovered that I was just given 2 pieces. So I left the drink, some fries, coleslaw and the only 2 pieces of chicken to my son. I drove back and asked for the remaining 2 pieces. I felt I was treated with suspicion. At the end, with reluctance, I was given back the two pieces. The food quality was similar to KFC. However, the price is much more. With today's experience, I will never eat at any Mary Browns again. Their worker should be more professional in work and customer service. The cook was mainly responsible and she was a female. The cashier was a white girl. She is okay.
