My visit at Mustafa Turkish Pizza had both hits and misses, making it difficult to rate the place. The restaurant has a unique interior resembling a grotto, with nautical decor and wooden tables that suggest a seafaring adventure. It was interesting, but I wasn't sure how it complemented the Turkish food that was served. The menu was simple and straightforward. Each dish had a name, image, and price. The prices were quite high. What stood out to me was the lack of free tap water, which was a first for me in Toronto. They only offered bottled water or tea, so I ordered tea. Lentil Soup: It came with the Beef Kebap that I ordered. It was flavourful, a little spicy, and very hot. It was slightly over-seasoned in my opinion. Beef Kebap: The meal was huge. The smoky aroma of grilled steak was enticing, and the meat was tender and juicy. The bed of rice was white but well seasoned, absorbing the juices and adding to the dish's richness. The oiled pita was soft and gave me another thing to bite into in between meats. The issues I had included some meat pieces were over-charred, and veggies were not evenly grilled. The peppers were underdone, and onions were nearly raw. A bit more attention to grilling would have improved the meal's overall quality. The meat pieces were over-seasoned. Their standard black tea, unsweetened and simple, was satisfactory but unremarkable. Service-wise, the staff were amicable and seemed eager to assist, adding a touch of warmth to the encounter. Access to the washroom was an unexpected challenge, with narrow stairs posing a safety concern. The cleanliness of the men's room and a non-functional soap dispenser were additional drawbacks. They seemed to have a very good selection of desserts, but I had no room for it after such a hearty meal. In summary, while the food provided good value, the cost did not align with the overall experience. Also, certain items were overseasoned, which bothered me a little. The restaurant's policy on water felt like a misstep in hospitality. While I'm open to exploring their takeout options, I would not return for...

I went during the week in the evening because some one recommended this place to me. My friend raved about a specialty meat dish they have, however we were unable to get it because they only serve it Fri-Sun apparently. The server recommended their kebobs instead, and suggested we order a plate with chicken, beef, and lamb, which we did. Unfortunately they had run out of chicken, which was frustrating, since it seems like chicken would be a basic staple at this type of restaurant. The server was super friendly and informative, and the food got to us in a decent amount of time. My only complaint about service would be that it was hot and stuffy there, so we were eager to get out water (bottled btw) and she forgot to bring it to us or check on us when we wanted to order more food. The beef kebobs and rice were delicious and not dry, the Turkish naan bread was incredible, and the general decor of the restaurant was really cool. As a starter we had a Greek type of salad which was fresh and quite tasty as well. The inside of the restaurant looks like a cave, and they have really neat long table booths, although the seating is limited as it is a small restaurant. I found it to be very clean as well. If this place would have been better stocked with their most popular menu items, and if they had been better staffed (our server probably forgot about us because she was running around everywhere), then I would give this place 5/5 without hesitation. Based on the quality of the food, cleanliness, and friendly service I do recommend this restaurant. On busy nights it's best to get your food to go though, cause its hard to...

Ate here on a Monday afternoon and place wasn’t packed at all. First thing I noticed was it was quite warm inside. Not something I expected since it was so hot outside. Place is clean and staff were friendly. We got seated right away. They gave us a complimentary salad which was so-so. It got lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and feta cheese with pomegranate sauce. We ordered Lahmacun and beef kebab. My boyfriend was craving for Pide and I wanted to try their kebab. I didn’t enjoy the Pide that much. I guess the topping is really not for me. But it’s quite big for maybe two to three people depending on how hungry or big the appetite is. Beef kebab was good. I enjoyed the basmati rice very much. It was that milky tasted to it that I liked. It comes with a pita bread which for me is just too much. But the serving is big too so two people can definitely share. It comes with two sticks of kebab, grilled tomatoes and peppers. For dessert, we had the coconut ice cream and two piece of baklava. I enjoyed them as well but my Turkish boyfriend wasn’t really impressed at all. Overall, it was ok. Serving-wise it was big and worthy of its price. But will I come back? Not really. There was nothing special with the taste. It’s just good for a one time experience. For everything we spent around 50ish.

They deserve it! First time here, I havent tried many Turkish restaurants in the past, but so far this is my favorite trying new cuisines. We had the Chicken kebap and Mevlana and it was amazing and fresh. It came Really fast! The garlic sauce we got on the side went so amazingly well with the fresh marinated and season so well it was so juicy. I was a bit worried the chicken would be dry, but it was barbecued very well with that nice brown charred smokey flavour. Home made bread (naan) was thick and fluffy! The Mevlana wasnt too heavy. the lemon on top was an additional flavour bomb that complimented my palete. I was going to order nestea but they didnt have it, im glad they didnt, which msde me try something new, we had the peach juice and apricot juice in a can. And it was a creamy sweetness and refreshing. I was told they have a special weekly menu and food is fresh. Family owned and been in business for 18 years . Happy discovery gem in my community. The host/staff are very nice. The decor is inspiring! Their kitchen is looks to be where the passion starts and onto your table into your mouth!! Our mouth still watering thinking about about it.
