The food was very delicious!!!!🙂↕️ Simple but yet so well, exact in measure and diversely seasoned!!!!!! I had ordered previously on Uber Eats but never attended a location in person. David the manager is so so friendly and super outgoing!* I walked in the first time to just check out the menu out of curiosity - but before I left he made sure to personally explain all the menu items to me along with recommendations as I haven’t eaten Afghan food many times before, and even made recommendations for future larger parties. Impressed by his service and true humble care, I came today for dinner for 1. Jimi my server was so friendly and kind hearted even when I asked how to properly pronounce my meal’s name - “Qabli” chuckled and was kind enough to teach me :)** It was very, very succulent lamb with rice topped with shredded carrots + sweet raisins and chickpea stew that all came out hot, fresh, large portioned and super duper fast!!!💨 I usually don’t like sweet with savoury but this is the ONLY time it was soo so Good! The decor is beautifully done inside and I appreciated the experience of feeling like I was being immersed in the Afghan culture with the colours and pretty pendants🦋❤️🔥 it’s also very clean inside - 10 Stars to the entire crew and this special spot ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️gotta bring my family next time!🙂↕️😊 Thank you so much...
Read moreSuch a disappointment! Naan Kabob is usually amazing but this experience was disheartening.
We reached the restaurant at 10pm and the restaurant was literally empty. One of the waiter welcomed us and mentioned that they will close at 10:30 whereas on Google it is mentioned that the restaurant closes at 11:00pm. We ignored that, ordered and waited for the food but suddenly a disgusting smell came from the restroom and it took over the full restaurant. It was an awful experience but again, we ignored it. When the food came, it looked nice but it was a real disappointment: the bread was weird but it was not the worst, we had disgusting outdated tomatoes to eat, the Bolanis were soggy, the chicken was fine but the meat smelled awfully. We ate what we could (we spent more than a $100 on that) and kindly told the server when she came, that the food was unbearable. She apologized but said that it comes from the warehouse and apparently the Bolanis are supposed to be like that. But when we asked her to smell the meat she did not mention anything else. Anyway it was a disaster, hoping that no one else lives...
Read moreI recently dined at this Naan Kabob, and unfortunately, it was the worst experience I've had at this franchise. To begin with, the seating process was perplexing; after being seated, we were asked to go up to the cashier when we were ready to order. It felt like a tactic to get tips, and I didn't appreciate it. In most places, you order, sit, and eat seamlessly.
My disappointment continued when I specifically requested that they not overcook the meat, but when it arrived, it was charred and incredibly dry. The flavor was far from what I expected. Even the salad, a usually reliable side, tasted different compared to other Naan Kabob locations. It seemed to be missing a certain something that would have made it enjoyable.
In conclusion, this dining experience was a letdown, and I have no intention of returning to this particular Naan Kabob location. The service structure and the quality of the food left much to be desired, and I hope they can improve these aspects...
