Quick read: Just go to Mallo around the corner on Bathurst. Better service, better coffee.

We had a poor experience here. My friend and I bought coffees, tipped, then stood by the pickup counter, waiting for our order to be made. Apparently, the barista had other plans. He took the order for the next 2 customers, made theirs, handed it to them, and ignored us standing there the entire time. Once we realized the barista hadn't made our drinks, we sat down, thinking he would make our coffees, walk them over, and thank us for our patience. There were no other customers or orders waiting, after all. Nope! He just called us over, like we had ordered from a fast food joint. He didn't even ask if we wanted anything in our coffee (milk, sugar, etc). This experience just begs the question, why prompt customers for a gratuity if you cannot offer reasonable service?! Even McCafe makes orders according to the...

Ninetails is a Japanese-inspired coffee bar with a combination of 3 dominant colors: beige, white and black, with a soft touch of green.

Walking into the place, I knew exactly where I would wanna spend my afternoon sipping tea in. The place's interior was not original, but rather light and harmonious, most suitable for people who are in search of a place to just sit and melt away with the soothing music.

The menu has a narrow selection of drinks compared to other places, only to ensure an absolute satisfaction to its customers. The owners choose to specialize over generalize, they offer three distinctive kinds of coffee beans, each leaves a unique effect on our tastebuds.

The pastry section caught my eye. I ordered a Lemon Blackcurrant Danish and a Vegan Apricot Danish, which went perfectly with a pot of Iced Crimson Berry tea.

Overall, 8/10, will revisit to try a cup of latte with Brazil Dancing...

I really want to love this place but my first visit was a real disappointment. DO NOT GO IN IF IT IS BUSY... they cannot deal with back to back orders! Asked for cappuccino and asked for large/medium size. And the guy taking a order showed the sizes of cup and I went for the larger one. So the guy started preparing but was cought up with earlier orders, went to serve another customer. Then the girl took over and she changed the bigger cup with the smaller and prepared cappuccino and I thought it was for someone else. But then she was like here you go. I was surprised cuz I specifically asked for large cup. I asked what size is it, rather then answering, she straight up said cappuccino only comes in one size. I was confused for a bit, that exact moment the guy came back and kind told the girl that she was wrong quietly however, rather then apologizing and asking to make another cup, they...

This is the only cafe that I’ve been to most number of times after the regular chains. I fell in love with their hojicha latte! The barista who used to make the perfect cup of the hojicha latte is not found there anymore. The staff are friendly! They always have 2 vegan Danish options that are so delicious! I love their apricot Danish! Also love their plant-based coffees. I always opt for oat milk for my cappuccinos and cortados and they make a perfect blend. Guess they use de Mello coffee and also sell them as I’ve seen it on display. Yet another cafe that is community friendly with a bulletin board full of stuff happening in and around bloor. It’s always full which is not surprising given how amazing this cozy little cafe is! ☕️ I pass a lot of empty cafes in bloor but this one is full, always! So, at least grab your take away coffee. ☕️

Super cozy and delicious cafe!! This adorable Korean coffee shop features tons of outstanding drinks, beautiful pastries, and a wonderful staff. I got their hojicha latte, which was one of the best tea lattes I've ever had in North America; it was incredibly rich and earthy, with all of the delightful roasted flavor I look for in a good hojicha. They served it in a ceremonial matcha bowl, which was such a cute, creative, and cozy presentation and made for a fun drinking experience. I was deeply tempted by the pastries but opted to skip for this time, but I can't wait to come back to try them and some of their other drinks out! It's a little bit pricey, but 100% worth the expense -- truly one of the best cafes in Toronto!
