Over the years, I have visited the Korea Town location. First time trying the beef spicy jalapeño ramen. First impression was the soup was tasty but not hot enough as far as the temperature goes. The bowl was delivered shortly after being prepared. For those that like hot food may find this ramen on the spicier side. I have a high tolerance level for spice and found the soup very spicy. I found the beef flavour under what I would have expected. The flavour was more about the jalapeño instead. I had to confirm with the server that the soup stock was actually beef. The ramen came with two thick slices of tender beef. Very lean though. Would have preferred a fattier slice since the fat provides most of the beef flavour. Also, marinated bamboo shoots, wood ear mushroom slices and diced green onions were included as toppings. No condiments on the table. Overall, I enjoyed the ramen. Would I order this one again? Probably not since there are many more I have not tried yet. For those looking for a variety, Kinton Ramen does not disappoint.

This is probably my favourite location of all the kinton ramen stores. The broth here seems to be a lot better. I feel like the flavour here is a little different from the other locations. It's thicker and stronger here. The pork here is also not as dry. It's really soft. Portions here are about the same as the other locations but for extra pork, there's only one more piece. Chik Chik don is always pretty good. It would have been better if the chicken on top of the rice was warmer and if there was more sauce. If you decide to order drinks here, make sure you ask for no ice. I ordered an ice tea and it was pretty much 90% ice and 10% tea... order no ice to get the most of your drink! Service here varies. Sometimes the waiters are friendly and nice. Other times they don't seem like they want to be there. As for parking, there's a Green P parking lot located behind the street that the restaurants at but it's really close by.

I was walking by and wanted to try some ramen and got into the first restaurant, the place was busy with dinners and takeout orders, we got first greeted by ayako’s beautiful smile and enthusiasm, then the kitchen staff and other servers, we got seated and the atention and service was organized and fast, i started with a pitcher of saporo (couldn’t believe the price) edemame and gyozas, they were really tasty, then a couple of clasic ramen bowls that were incredible, i was on vacation in TO for a week and it became the place to eat at the end of the night, 5 nights out of 7 weren’t enoght. Thanks to all the staff and ayako for the experience. Ps: the place was super clean and spotless, the wasrooms were the cleanestt iv ever seen, which always means that the back of the house is also clean, i would only recommend to repaint the bases of the chairs which peoples shoes get dirty easily

I went here on friday, I dont usually go rate restaurants I went to but for that day's experience? yes. I went there with my friend for lunch because I used to eat kinton in other locations and I definitely love it, but this location, I wont ever come back! We done choosing the ramen type we want then we call for order, there is one standing there so we called her and she ignored us with side-eye? If you dont want to serve us then just say it? Wait until another one came and ask for ordering. I know this is kind of personal but I dont like it when we JUST put our chopstick down and the waiter immediately took away the bowl and clean the table? aint no one tell the waiters that you cannot clean the table yet when the customers not leaving yet? And of course we paid for the bill so we have rights to sit there longer a little, but as we're talking, the waiter interrupted us and put down the card reader and asked us to pay... My friend accidentally clicked 1 cent because she didnt know it would appear as 1 cent and the waiter just stares at it and say that "if you dont want to tip then just skip it" with like unfriendly face.. That kind of servuce but still asking for tips seriously? Worst experience at Kinton ever! wont ever comeback just to pay for ramen and still have to see that...

I was hoping to have a positive experience at this place given my friends’ recommendations, but unfortunately, it was the complete opposite. They took 50 minutes to serve our food (2 ramens, not even drinks/appetizers - nothing overly complicated) and I still don’t understand what happened. At the 30-min mark we noticed that people from other tables who arrived way after us were getting their food, so probably they forgot about our order. When we asked the waiter about our order, she seemed very rushed and wasn’t very friendly - her response was simply “they’re making it”. Since then, they took an additional 20 minutes and when the food came, it was even a greater disappointment. The chicken in my ramen didn’t look properly cooked, the boiled egg looked old and I didn’t like the taste of the broth at all. I couldn’t eat my food.

Later they came offering something else on the house, but at that point I just wanted to leave. At the end they didn’t charge us for anything - which I appreciated - and left.

This experience completely ruined our Friday night out and I...
