UPDATE!! ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW!

GUEST RELATIONS 5/5

THE BUSINESS HAD REACHED OUT TO US AND APPOLOGIZED FOR OUR BAD EXPERIENCE. ON TOP OF THAY, THEYVE GENEROUSLY OFFERED TO REPLACE OUR MEAL FOR OUR NEXT VISIT. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM HERE A DEFINITE SOLID 5/5. UNLIKE SOME BUSINESSES WHO DONT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR MISTAKES AND JUST POINT THE FINGERS AT THEIR CUSTOMERS. WE REALLY APPRECIATE THIS KRIS, THANK YOU SO MUCH & WE LOOK FORWARD A BETTER NBP EXPERIENCE!

BEEN WANTING TO TRY THIS CHAIN FOR SO LONG BUT THE HYPE, LOCAL PHOTOS, AND REVIEWS WERE FAR FROM WHAT WE EXPECTED.

**GARLIC "KNOTS" (SMALL ORDER 6PCS) 1/5 THE "KNOTS" WERE JUST LITTLE DINNER BUNS OR SLIDERS BUNS THAT WERE KEPT INTACT. I MEAN, IT WOULD COOL AND TASTY IF YOU "PULL THEM APART" AND IT WAS DROWNED IN GARLIC BUTTER AND MELTY CHEESES, BUT THEY WERE QUITE DRY/OVER COOKED/STALE AND HARD FOR US. IT WAS DRIEST AND MOST BORING LOOKING BUNCH OF MINI BUNS. LOOKED NOTHING A "GARLIC BREAD" OR KNOT WOUKD BE. IT LACKED A LOT OF FLAVOUR. THE DIY ONES YOU CAN MAKE AT HOME WOULD BE BETTER. TOTAL LET DOWN W.THIS ONE.

**PUTTANESCA & MARGHERITA - WHOLE PIZZAS 2/5 BOTH PIZZAS WERE OBVIOUSLY OVER BAKED. CHEESE BURNT, DOUGH HARD AND DRY. YOU CANNOT OVER COOK THINCRUST PIZZAS BC IT DRIES OUT AND BECOMES ROCK HARD.

WE SPENT ABOUT $50-$55 AFTER TX+TIP.

WAS NOT SATISFIED AT ALL.

**SERVICE/STAFF 5/5 LADS IN THE HOUSE WERE SO FRIENDLY AND POLITE. GREETS ALL GUESTS INSTANTANEOUSLY WITH BIG SMILES AND WARM WELCOMES.

**OVERALL EXPERIENCE 3/5 I THINK MAYBE I JUST CAUGHT THEM AT A BAD TIME? THEY WERE TOO BUSY? MAYBE SET AN ALARM FOR THE PIZZAS GOING IN/OUT OF THE OVEN? NOT SURE IF ID WANT TO SPEND ANOTHER $50 HERE..MAYBE WHEN TIMES ARENT SO TOUGH W.COVID+JOB LOSS WE WILL COME BY AGAIN TO SEE NBP...

Sad to leave a one star review as the pizza at the Greenwood location is very good. But I had 2 bad experiences with the website and delivery and the hidden fees were the last straw. Last order arrived cold and missing one item listed on the dinner for 2 on the website. I called to ask about the garlic knots and was told they’re no longer part of the dinner for 2. I asked to speak to a manager and was given the name Jason and his email address. At no point was I told that Door Dash is the delivery service. The website lists a $1.99 delivery fee and there is no mention of a third party when selecting the delivery option. Jason never emailed me back. Today, we tried again. Website was acting up after I placed the order, so I called the restaurant directly. They had the wrong order. I asked to cancel it and was told they couldn’t because I’d used their website. This is a dedicated website to the restaurant, NOT a door dash site. I checked my bank and there was a charge there from the restaurant but it seemed really high. I called back. They told me to call again in 20 minutes. In the meantime, I got a call from another party telling me I had to call door dash to dispute the charge. So here’s a third call. So although the website lists only a $1.99 delivery fee, it’s actually almost 8 dollars and there’s another service charge there too. I tipped the driver but that % was added to the total after food, tax, service charge AND delivery charge so my $52 food order was now at $74. The fees are hidden and way too high. 4 phone calls later and apparently I’ll be getting a service fee refund. But sadly, unless I’m in the neighbourhood, I won’t be ordering from North of Brooklyn again. Oh and the website still lists the garlic knots as part of the...

The pies here was phenomenal and I would’ve gave this store a 5 star rating however, I was not happy with the staff working there. From the moment I walked into the store I felt like I was walking into an elementary school that was selling lemonade. The employee that took my order did not make me feel welcome whatsoever, he was zoned out in his world and it was just an unpleasant interaction. After we got through order order; it just got worse. There were roughly 5-6 employees in the store and absolutely no customers. It took them over 13 minutes just to start making our pizza because the employee that took the order was just chatting away about his cousin, swearing, distracting all the other employees and just being very unprofessional. I understand employees have conversations amongst themselves but it’s very unprofessional to have those conversations while there are customers waiting for pizza. All the employees there were just doing nothing just standing around, talking very loudly, using profanity like it was nothing and I’m sitting there just thinking, do they even know that I’m here. It wasn’t even like they were trying be subtle about it, it was just open conversation and even when I tried to get their attention for more napkins and get our drinks before the pizza was done, I had to almost shout to get their attention. When the pizza was done, they brought it out to the table (they knew we were dining inside because that’s the first thing we asked when we walked in), they didn’t even give us plates. The pizza was amazing, great taste, full of flavour but the service...
