I recently visited Loei Thai and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dinner or a cozy night out.

The menu offers a wonderful variety of classic Thai dishes, and everything I tried was bursting with flavor. The Chicken Satay had a beautifully grilled char and the peanut sauce was just the right balance of creamy and nutty. The Pad Thai was spot-on — tangy, savory, and full of texture. The Green Curry was aromatic with just enough spice, and the Pineapple Fried Rice was both a visual treat and a delight to the taste buds.

Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient. The staff made sure our drinks were topped up and answered questions about spice levels and ingredients with great care.

Overall, Loei Thai delivers excellent food, a pleasant atmosphere, and top-tier service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Thai cuisine in Toronto. I’ll definitely...

Honestly a new hidden gem in the area.

Super cute restaurant - very clean and modern space - staff were quick; very attentive and polite. Presentation and quality of food was perfect with a very reasonable price point for the Chicken Pad Sew; with very balanced spice level on the medium to my preference. Exact ambiance I was looking for - for a lunch or even a dinner.

Felt a little sympathetic for the server - as they received two very challenging guests right after I placed my order - whom very quite blunt; demanding and truly disrespectful to her. They didn’t even acknowledge her greeting - and treated the place like they owned it. Their sense of entitlement was showing.

I really appreciated her being quite patient - and doing everything she could to go above and beyond with their rather aggressive demands.

I will definitely...

We came here yesterday for dinner and both my girlfriend and I got food poisoning. We ordered the coconut soup to share and then the pad kra pao and khao soi curry noodles. My rice was tasty and I did eat it all because I had not eaten anything all day and other than a couple of pieces of chicken that tasted like they had gone bad I thought it was ok. My girlfriend did not enjoy her curry noodles so much. I tried them and they had too much curry in our opinion compared to traditional but that might just be our taste. Regardless, literally 20 minutes later we are on the car and she is throwing up everything she has eaten while I’m dying to get home to go to the bathroom. Given we both had not eaten during the day other than fruit it’s clear this place made us sick. We will never be coming back here again. Hurts to spend...

We had a fantastic lunch at Loei Thai Kitchen & Bar today. It was myself, my husband, and my mother, and all of us enjoyed every bite. We ordered the spring rolls, tom yum fried rice, and Thai basil stir fry with steamed rice , everything was absolutely delicious, full of fresh ingredients, rich flavors and beautifully presented. Portions were generous, and the menu had a great balance of traditional favorites and unique options. Big shoutout to our server, Jessi, who was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. She checked in at just the right times and helped with great menu suggestions. The restaurant itself is cozy and stylish, a perfect spot for a relaxing lunch on Queen West. Highly recommend if you're craving quality Thai food in Toronto. We'll definitely be back!

This restaurant has potential, but several elements kept it from being an enjoyable experience. The atmosphere felt off; not especially welcoming, and it didn’t capture the character or energy you’d expect from a Queen West spot. A TV playing the news combined with music coming from the kitchen created a somewhat disjointed vibe. Thai cuisine is one of my favorites, and I’ve explored it extensively over the years. While the food was visually appealing, it lacked the bold flavors and aromatic depth I associate with great Thai cooking. It was overly salty and, unfortunately, didn’t sit well with me afterward. On the positive side, the service was warm and professional. Our server was attentive and handled a concern with the food graciously and with genuine care, which I appreciated.
