I recently had the pleasure of dining at this hidden gem, and it’s safe to say it left a lasting impression. From the moment we stepped in, the ambience set the tone – warm lighting, inviting interiors, and just the right mix of comfort and elegance.
Now to the star of the evening – the Mandi Lamb Ghee Roast. Words fall short in describing how incredibly flavorful and well-executed this dish was. Tender, aromatic, and rich without being overwhelming – it’s the kind of dish that makes you pause and truly savor every bite. An absolute must-try.
We also had the Chicken Mandi, Special Chicken Biryani, and Chicken 123 starter – each one distinct, delicious, and generously portioned. The Chicken Mandi was beautifully spiced with the meat falling off the bone, while the Special Chicken Biryani brought that perfect blend of heat and fragrance that biryani lovers crave. The Chicken 123 was a crowd-pleaser – crispy, spicy, and just addictive.
To end on a sweet note, we tried the chocolate ice cream dessert, and it was nothing short of delightful. Creamy, rich, and beautifully plated – the perfect finale to a fantastic meal.
A special shout-out to Bindu, whose service was warm, attentive, and seamless throughout. It's rare to see such genuine hospitality, and she truly elevated our experience. And of course, kudos to Chef Sai – the talent behind these amazing flavors. Your passion shows in every dish.

Read moreWas in the mood for some flavourful Andhra-style biryani, which led me to Bucket Biryani Downtown Toronto, now renamed Mohabbat — and I’m so glad I went! I was greeted by Rishabh, whose warm hospitality made the experience just as memorable as the food.
I ordered the Ghee Roast Boneless Chicken Biryani and paired it with Chicken 65 — a match made in culinary heaven. The Chicken 65 was especially impressive: juicy, tangy, and perfectly saucy. The portion sizes are generous too; I almost couldn’t finish my meal (but it was too delicious to leave behind!).
If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be to add a refreshing drink option like buttermilk or lime soda, which would beautifully round out the experience. Also, having just a wash basin on the ground floor would be a nice addition (if it’s feasible as going downstairs just for washing hands is a minor inconvenience)
Overall, I highly recommend Mohabbat to anyone craving authentic Andhra-style biryani in Toronto. Great food and...
Read moreI recently ordered at Bucket Biryani and was thoroughly impressed with their extensive Biryani options, particularly their vegetarian offerings!
Being a vegetarian, the standout dish for me was the Paneer Biryani – it was cooked to perfection, with the paneer (Indian cheese) being tender and flavorful. The basmati rice was aromatic and fluffy, and the blend of spices was just right. Friends had a similar good experience with Chicken Biryani.
The staff were warm, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They took the time to explain the different options and made excellent recommendations.
Kudos to the chef and the entire team at Bucket Biryani for creating a memorable experience. We can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious Biryanis and other...
