Stopped in to get a few slices, last time I will do so. I have noticed the decline since ownership changed about a year ago. What was available looked like they have been sitting there for a long period of time. I asked how long the wait for Canadiana, said 10 mins (not a problem). Server suddenly said it is ready, ordered a few slices, also got a drink and dipping sauce (making it one combo and 2 slices). Noticed person at cash did not charge me for the right combo and brought to her attention. She said the machine does not have a button for that combo, and only for pizza and drink combo so the sauce had to be charged separately. That means I am paying a higher price (and so is everyone else who purchase the combo). I mentioned that thisbis false advertising and they need to remove the combo as it is misleading When I got home and started eating, iy was so disappointing, the dough was not cooked through. Read moreIt’s Saturday lunch…I walk in to place an order. There is one person working and she is busy with the order in front of me. She spent ten minutes making salads for the order in front of me. They were obviously not prepped beforehand so I and the people behind me had to wait. After 15 minutes of waiting to place an order o left and went to Pizza Pizza. During my entire time waiting she did not even acknowledge any of the waiting customers that she’ll be a few minutes.
How do you 1) have one person working on a Saturday lunch shift? Maybe someone called in sick I don’t know but still inexcusable and 2) lack the basic skills of how to even speak to customers that you may be a few minutes. This is truly shitty food service training and this location should be ashamed. I will not be returning anytime soon. Hire people with proper service skills not the cheapest student who applies…if you do then train them to be service friendly and how to handle...
Read moreOrdered pizza tonight, and unfortunately it seems like it was a bad night for them as other reviews had the same problem. Late delivery, cold pizza etc.
Since it's a new location, I don't want to just jump to a 1 star review. I called in after receiving our pizza and the manager said they had a sick callout, and weren't expecting to be this busy. He was very apologetic and offered to remake the pizza, but I said we don't need a second one, so he added a credit to the account, which I was happy with.
Im currently leaving 4 stars because of how he handled the situation, and will give them another try before I bump it up to 5, or down to 3 if they don't sort things out.
