The worst service we ever had. No one was operating. Totally short of staff.
Asked to order an item first as we sat down, and the waiter looked shocked. We have a toddler and is impatient with waiting so we wanted to order first while we prep the table. So after we explained; he asked can he take one of the menu away!!! What? I said I wanna order one item first, doesn’t mean I’m done with my order. Omg!
Then I the soup come, didn’t bring us the soup soon to scoop. So are we suppose to use our table spoon to scoop?
Then we asked to be helped to dispose garbage and they all jumped behind reluctant to help.
After all the bad encounter with these useless waiter and waitresses…. We are never coming back again.
The food was horrible and taste so MSG. Food vomit.
Regarding to your reply, you weren’t there so the staff can say whatever they want. They literally refuse to come near us when I asked for a garbage bag and they all looked disgusted. Maybe your food tasted bad that my toddler vomited, who knows, but your staff were so unfriendly. Also, there were only 5-6 tables of guests in the restaurant, so literally half the capacity and you call that a busy time… so I don’t know what “Real Busy” looks like. We have been eating around the world and Korea is no exception. As a Canadian, I am extremely disappointed to your staff’s unfriendly service and their fakeness. They only ask how is my baby when it comes to the time I pay the bill for her tips.
Unbelievable.
As for the food, your chicken ginseng soup was horrible. So salty, doesn’t taste clean, filled with MSG, chicken was dry. And there was barely any signed of gingseng. We ordered the rib, was fatty and can’t even taste the meat. We took the bimbimbap home. With 2 additional beers, total was $110! What a rip off. I rather donate the money than give your staff any tips next time.
There is plenty of room for improvement but your business will not survive with such poor service, bad food quality and poor atmosphere.

Read moreMy family came for dine in yesterday. There was 4 of us. We were served by a nice waitress. However, when it was time for the bill, another lady helped us with payment. We asked if there was any difference paying by cash. She said no so we wanted to pay with debit. Then she started to give us attitude. She proceeded to give us payment machine, came back to the station then came to our table again demanding that she would charge us 15% tip. Noted that she gave us a very rude tone. Since we had 2 takeout items, she also demanded us to leave 15% tip on the takeout bill. She said that our table had 4 people, that was why we had to pay 15% tip. I have worked in restaurant industry for 20 years and I haven't heard of such ridiculous policy. It is acceptable that they charge gratuity for a party of 5 and above. But party of 4 and attitude? No it is not acceptable. After we got home, I called back to talk to a manager but that waitress picked up the phone and she claimed that she was the owner. I wanted an explanation why I had to tip on takeout. She then rudely said she would give me credit for that tip. I didn't need credit. I wanted an explanation and an apology. Then she accused me of being rude to her and hanged up the phone. I called back in the morning to make sure if she was actually the owner before writing this review. I don't want the business to look bad just because of 1 incompetent employee. However, if the owner is the problem, then why do we support such bad business practice? Again, I believe in tipping culture and I'm willing to leave a nice tip for nice service. However, the way that we was treated was extremely unprofessional. I believe her name was Melissa or Alissa. I hope I got it right. Anyway, I won't come back. No thank you. And I wouldn't recommend...
Read moreI wanted to come here again, cus the food was pretty good, but the service I received that day will ensure I never come to this place again.
During checkout when I was about to pay for my order, which was ($67), another employee pulled the cashier to the side and was talking to her in Korean.
When I was about to pay for $67 the total changed to $77. I noticed the lady added a 15% tip for herself on the payment terminal, without my consent.
I asked her if the tip was mandatory, and she said "yes". I paid without thinking much of it and came back after asking for my $10 back.
She said the payment has already gone through and she couldn't do much about it. After pestering her a bit more, she offered us a 10% discount, but I still insisted. I offered her a 5% tip and she gave me a nasty look and that was when I got really upset. I demanded my money back, and she threw a $10 bill at me. In hindsight, I should have asked for the manager and got her name to escalate issues furthur.
Overall, this just taught me that restaurants would like to take advantage of foreigners in any way they can to earn an extra buck. The menu we received also had more expensive prices than the one they posted online. This business and the people working there have some shady practices. I'd advise no one to come here to avoid...
