Our Spot Danforth — Restaurant in Toronto

We live in the neighbourhood and decided to go there for lunch as my kid had a birthday party to go to a few doors down, we had heard about this spot so decided to go. We arrived and we’re immediately seated. My cutlery was dirty and immediately replaced. The server came over to take our orders and was having difficulty with the iPad technology and I told him not to worry. We repeated our order 6 times including mine which was modified and I was clear asking him to repeat once again before placing the order. Funny thing is that I told my family watch my order will be wrong and of course it was…We arrived at 11:40 and our food came out at 12:26. Please take note that the server brought my side of bacon almost 15 minutes prior to my lunch. He stated that the meal was coming in 3 minutes….it did not. I asked him to replace my bacon. Two standard breakfasts and a measly BLT took 46 minutes! The meal was def not tasty . My kids bread was hard as a rock and so was my moms. I clearly see why people like this place it’s cheap and it goes hand in hand with quality and service. These days people want a cheap meal due to high costs in everything around us. This spot won’t last long if the “quality” isn’t put forth first. Most importantly, they did not even acknowledge the whole situation and didn’t knock anything off the tab that’s so “unclassy” as I even get free food at my local McDonald’s if something goes...

My fiancé and some friend of ours came together to check out this brunch spot and everything was fantastic!

Firstly, I would highly recommend calling them during their business hours to make a reservation at least day before (they don’t take same-day reservations). We made a reservation for a Saturday and there was already a line outside the door when we arrived at noon.

The restaurant itself is small but nicely decorated and cozy. There is bronze decor and plants scattered throughout. The chalkboard and fun little signs such as “Be Our Guest” add some flair.

I got some freshly-squeezed orange juice and the Canadian Benny. It was SCRUMPTIOUS! The Hollandaise sauce was divine on top of the bacon and the eggs were perfectly poached with runny yolks. The freshly-squeezed orange juice was so refreshing. My fiancé got the Build-Your-Own-Meat-Lover’s Breakfast. Everything was piping hot and delicious. His eggs were scrambled to perfection and the sausage was especially flavourful.

We also got their pancakes which were delicious and fluffy, and their gyro which was super tender and flavour. All in all it was a delectable brunch feast!

You could tell the staff were working extra hard and the customer service was top-notch despite the how hectic and busy the restaurant was. We really appreciate their efforts! I highly recommend this terrific brunch spot for...

I HATE breakfast food. Never can get into it, or it's too soggy or undercooked, maybe overcooked. Every couple months I'll try ordering breakfast from a different place and everytime I leave still hating breakfast for various reasons.

I randomly tried this place a few weeks ago via Uber Eats and this place exclusively made me love breakfast...so much that I've ordered atleast 4 or 5 times in the last week alone since I discovered this place via Uber Eats. Every time I've ordered, it's just as good as the last time or better. Always consistent and honestly some of the best food I've ever tasted in general. The eggs always come as I ordered, the bread is properly buttered, the steak I ordered was amazing, the chicken I've ordered in the past was amazing, the home fries are honestly unreal. The food has tasted and looked completely fresh every single time this far and this place successfully made me like breakfast after 25+ years and converted and convinced me to start ordering here. Best breakfast and the quality is definitely there without question. Can't even put it into words how much I reccomend this place. Amazing food and extremely quick delivery times if you're using...
