Read moreUh so I actually quite enjoyed the coconut pandan chiffon cake, that was quite great, there’s actually a decent amount of coconut in there. I kind of have mixed feelings for the rating, because I bought the big tea leaf bag before and rlly liked it, but the green tea was rlly underwhelming, it just tastes like sugar water, like I couldn’t really taste the tea at all despite it looking really green, like it’s super sweet and I don’t know if it’s cuz I asked for milk, there’s also quite a lot of ice, but there was barely any flavor to the tea, but the service was nice ig. *the drink looks a lot lighter green after mixing it. I hate to compare but I did had the green Thai tea at a different place, I’m not gonna list the exact spot, but like it was really refreshing, idk what it’s supposed to taste like and if it’s supposed to taste this sugary—but it’s not for my taste, I had to dump half of the drink because it was that sugary and watery, which was kinda sad because I don’t wanna waste money nor the drink and I quite never really dump...
Read more4 stars for the sweet tapioca with coconut cream (4 dollars for 2 pieces). The portion was tiny, but the taste was great
The Thai iced green tea (3 dollars) was delicious and refreshing too
Sadly, I was not impressed at all by the Green curry chicken with vermicelli (Saturday special item / 12 dollars). Firstly, the portion was so small (only two small pieces of chicken and a few bites of noodles)!
Secondly, the curry didn't look green and certainly didn't taste green at all! The only "green" thing about it was the sad few wilted blackened basil leaves flowing on top and 2 tiny pieces of green chillies
The curry looked completely reddish yellow than the advertized green and tasted too spicy. Also, what was up with the random halved fig lookalike vegetables in the curry? All in all, this dish was a waste of 12 dollars
I would only order dessert items from here since that's their specialty. Worth a visit just for those!
The service was...
