There is an older gentleman (he may be a manager/owner) that works here who is not very friendly. Often, he's very stiff and comes off as rude which is unacceptable. I was in a couple of days ago, and he seemed like he didn't want to help and wanted to rush me out of there. I had asked the about a few items and he seemed very impatient explaining the products/pricing. This not the first time this man has acted this way when I've been in. Either the fish / seafood are fresh or it has a frozen section.
The wall is adorned with many Japanese sauces and accompaniments. There is also a jam / confiture section, pre-packages sushi, homemade smoked salmon and other prepared foods. Easy to get lost in the store examining all the unique products they carry.
Don't expect a selection as broad as Diana's Seafood. Their tuna and salmon are sashimi grade.
Staff are helpful and friendly. They also give you a lemon to help with your prep!
Good customer...
