Pizza Nova — Restaurant in Toronto

For a many years' long customer of Pizza Nova at other locations in Toronto, I am very sad to sat that the two pizzas I ordered for pick up from this location at Bay St and St. Joseph were absolutely inedible. Overbaked to the point that the very front tip of a slice required thorough chewing and the back one third of every slice tasted burned and almost chipped my teeth. To anyone from Pizza Nova reading, I am not a troll, I have been ordering fairly regularly from Pizza Nova using the same email address I am using to leave this review since at least 2015. Believe me, if I had anticipated that this was going to be the kind of inedible and disappointing pizza experience I (and my wife, a hard working mother of a newborn 51 day old baby who is very deserving of an actually delicious treat rather than the 2 inedible pies that we had to throw away most of) was going to have tonight, I would have gone to Pizzaolo. $50 worth of deep disappointment. If the management of Pizza Nova at Bay and St. Joseph's has ANY modicum of dignity and attention to customer service, you ought to contact me to offer restitution by way of a meaningful discount coupon or a free pizza. This was beyond disappointing and as I said, inedible, and in this age of inflation, the fact I had to spend around $50 for something we ultimately threw in the trash for being overcooked and mostly un-masticable, is disheartening. Great friendly staff Sorry I have to tell the truth. Always great service Pizza, lasagna comes with garlic bread, favourite exceptional. They also have beer awesome. I believe they are the FIRST #1 Location to have beer ! We asked if they do not have a problem with you bringing in a Slurpee from 7-Eleven conveniently on the other side of the street.On a hot day. Cashier replied why not it’s a hot day, because my friend had started work at 5 AM hot sun all day got home and was thirsty with all that smog stay hydrated.P.S. always asked for extra sauce for lasagna. I must say, my personal favorites at Pizza Nova's St. Joseph and Bay location are the Super Hawaiian, Meat Supreme, and Chicken Florentine pizzas. These choices never disappoint! Additionally, the service is fantastic - lightning-fast with an incredibly friendly staff. The washrooms are consistently clean, and the spaciousness of the store adds to the overall comfort.
