If you're looking for the best pizza in town, look no further than SOL Pizza! Joao and Ray, Toronto's pizza and sandwich masters, have created a cozy and inviting atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a slice or two with friends and family along with some fantastic choices of drinks.
What sets SOL Pizza apart is their commitment to using high-quality ingredients to create authentic Italian-style pizza. Whether you're in the mood for a classic margherita or something a little more adventurous, you're sure to find a pie that hits the spot.
But what really impressed me about SOL Pizza was their attention to detail when it comes to accommodating different dietary needs. I was surprised to see that they offer a variety of vegan pizza options, as well as gluten-free and halal choices at a reasonable price. It's clear that Joao and Ray truly care about their customers and their neighborhood and want everyone to feel welcome.
Speaking of Joao, I have to give a shoutout to the man himself. He's one of the friendliest and most considerate restaurant owners I've ever met. While waiting for my order, I saw him personally go out of his way to make sure that each customer had a great experience, and his passion for good food and great hospitality is evident in every aspect of SOL Pizza.
All in all, I can confidently say that SOL Pizza is the best neighborhood pizza joint in the area. Whether you're looking for a quick lunchtime slice or a cozy dinner with friends, Joao has got you covered. Don't miss out on this gem of a pizzeria! We will definitely be back! Thank you...
Read moreThe cashier was nice but when we placed our order and sat down at the outdoor seating, which was quite dirty to begin with, we had the most absurd experience with what I assume is the owner. We had leftover food which we decided to finish before we ate our pizza we paid for and were waiting for. The owner came out and told us it we can't do that, to which my friend and I were confused as we were paying customers sitting on an outdoor seating reserved for patrons. Upon telling him we purchased a pizza we planned on eating at the table he told us it was inappropriate to be eating anything else at the table. My friend and I were so shocked that as paying customers we were being treated so poorly. His tone was dripping with condescension and he insisted that we were doing wrong. Now I didn't pay 30 dollars for a pizza for someone to antagonize me, so we told him we would move like 2 feet down to a garden railing to which he was like oh no it's okay you already did it which was such a wierd response. We got up and moved regardless as the way he spoke to us was so rude I didn't even want to be in his shop if we didn't have to get our pizza. The nice cashier came out after and apologized which he really didn't have to as he was nothing but sweet, but the owner could use some lessons in customer service, will not be back and many people will hear...
Read moreI saw good reviews here and decided to give it a try. The pizza here are delicious. They are just perfect to my taste, not too salty. I tried the truffle couple weeks ago and it was a bit overcooked. Today I went in to get a Americana and a Siciliana and I just nicely requested Zack(the cashier) that not to overcook my pizzas by showing him a picture from my phone of the overcooked pizza (a tad burnt) that I took from last time. He did note down my request on the order then I just waited outside while they were making them. A few minutes later, the owner came out and asked if I could show him the picture from my phone and went inside, came back out saying that he would give me a complimentary pizza of the exact same order I had last time plus a dipping sauce. I said not to worry not a big deal but he insisted that customers satisfactory is his number one priority.
Thanks to Lokash the chef. This time the pizzas are perfectly cooked, golden brown with crispy crust and tasted so yummy. Wednesday $10 per any pizza is a great deal. Highly recommend for quality food...
