My goodness. First off it took 15 minutes to get seated, which I have no complaints about but it has to be noted. Once seated, it took 5-10 more minutes to get our order taken. At this point we still did not get any water yet. Once the order was made, we did not see a server until our water came which was about 5-10 minutes after. The main issue we faced was that the food did not arrive for more than 40 minutes. At this point, we had asked what happened to our order cause we were hungry. (Mind you that we had to call them over and they never checked in on us) They came back a little later stating that there was a problem with their machine that’s runs the order to the kitchen. I understand things like this happen but we were hungry and we had been waiting. When asked if anything could be done as a nice gesture cause of the wait, they came back with side dishes. Posted is a picture of the amount of side dish they gave us. It was the most stingiest amount I had ever seen. I was expecting, at the very least, an appetizer and an apology. Food came about 5-10 minutes after, with again, the stingiest amounts of protein in the dish. Though the food did taste good, the service and the experience has to be one of the worst dine in experiences in Toronto. I have been reviewing a lot of food in Toronto and never have I ever given a 1 star review. Note to the restaurant: problems arise all the time in this business but how you deal with them matters the most. Customer satisfaction should be the number 1 thing to upkeep. No one came to check on us for 40 mins?!? No refills on the water? If they checked up on us, they would’ve realized that we had not received our food yet and the problem could have been resolved sooner.

I was walking around with my close friend and I told her I was craving korean food due to an extreme cold weather! She said we would pass by Seoulicious and she has dined in there before, and the food was good. I ordered my go-to which is Gamjatang, it was good but not the best I tried. I have noticed that korean restaurants in downtown have higher menu prices compared to other locations, which is understandable since they could be paying higher rent. I want to appreciate Seoulicious' excellent customer service. The server was friendly and approachable! She even asked me if I needed anything and if everything was okay. I was a bit nervous that they would charge extra since my friend was not hungry and did not order anything. While Owl of Minerva has one of the best gamjatang, their branch in Scarborough has this policy that a person must order at least $6-8, and all the menu prices are greater than $10. Seaoulicious does not have this and did not make us feel bad when my friend did not order anything.

I just passed by the place and it caught my eyes because I’m craving Korean dish. The food options are very good. I originally ordered bulgogi and I had a change of heart and I got a LA Ribs and it comes with miso & rice already, but of course before changing my order I asked first if it was already in pan or not, yet they are kind enough to change my order. When the food arrived it smells so good! My eyes are full and my mouth feels watery. I devoured the food right away and I sat by the window, so people can see me eating and the food was SOOOO GOOD that I didn’t care that people are watching me. Their side dishes are also amazing. The kimchi is sweet which I love! I wanted to ask for more but I was shy because I already asked for more. Lol i left no crumb and made sure ate every meat and left only the bones and onions. Haha the staffs are very friendly and nice as well. They have this kind smile. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Chef’s kiss 😙👌🏼i will definitely come back

Disappointed to say the least. I used to be an avid eater at Seoulicious, but today I have decided to not come back. Firstly, the food quality has decreased since the last time I came (precovid), and I’ve also noticed the food portions have decreased as well. We had to wait for our food for 40+ mins, and when we asked where the food was, the waiter wasn’t all that apologetic. We asked the waiter what they can do for us but they didn’t do anything, only gave us complimentary dishes that every customer already gets with their food …. we waited for them to offer something, but they just seemed to have forgotten.

i wish we didn’t have to ask for things to be done. We had to remind them so many things. We had to ask for water (they didn’t give us anything when we came Into sit down). We had to remind them that we didn’t get food, otherwise they would’ve never noticed. And lastly, we had to literally ask them why the food was so proportionally unequal between rice and beef (for bulgogi) it was ridiculous.

If they really cared about customers, they should seriously improve on their service because it...

Dined in with my wife for some Korean food here last Fri. We are extremely picky with msg and sodium so this was a first time in a very long time to eat out as we normally eat at home 98% of the time. We started off with some spicy rice cake and seafood pan cake. The taste of spicy rice cake brought old memories back in Korea during our school days and seafood pancake was super crispy delicious. The way they turned them into few pieces of smaller size was brilliant. For main, I had a spicy beef soup. Rich and flavourful broth with lots of depth. I personally like soups that's been simmering for a couple days rather than a fresh new batch when it comes to korean soups and it was perfectly done. My wife had a bibimbap which is hard to go wrong with but the sauce they had here was excellent and really elevated the whole dish. We normally see how thirsty we get to gauge how much msg is used at restaurants we eat at and this place definitely pass our test. Also, things aren't very salty either so two thumbs up. Will definitely visit again to try other dishes. Keep up...
