Pizzaiolo — Restaurant in Toronto

I ordered pizza from this location on Thursday May 27,2021. After my wife picked up the pizza she was reviewing the receipt and noticed it had two different prices on it for each pizza.

My wife called the location back to question them about the bill and was told that they are very busy and if she could tell them the issue in under 5 minutes that would help them out.

Upon my wife's arrival home, she told me the situation that occurred with this location, so I proceeded to call the store to get an explanation. A lady had picked up and I asked her for the customer service number for Pizzaiolo and was told that I should google it. I then asked to speak to the acting manager, who also stated that he is really busy and has customers lined up in front of them and doesn't have time to speak with me. I told him that I am a paying customer and I don't care how many customers he has in front of him, he needs to take the time to explain the bill, which he did.

This is my second time ordering from this location and will be my last. I would rather give my business to another local business that appreciates my business and will take the time to explain things to me when I have any questions.

Paying customers should not be treated this way and this location lacks customer service skills. Remember.....We are the one's who keep you in business and make sure you have a job, especially during this pandemic.

We ordered a pizza yesterday which costs about $63 for Christmas Eve. We ordered it at 6:30 P.M and make the delivery time 10:00 to 11:00 P.M but till today at 1:00 A.M (December 25, 2022) it never came. We asked for a request to see what is going on but got nothing. We also contacted the place (we contacted the place before it closed) we get it, it's Christmas Eve. It might be busy but at least give us an update or call that you won't be able to deliver and we'll just cancel our order. We paid through ubereats and it keeps saying that it's arriving soon between 11:15 to 11:35 P.M but it never came, we also came down to the first floor or lobby just incase but we got nothing. Not even the app has an update saying someone has our order, it doesn't say who got our order or who's bringing it to our house. We choose the delivery to be at our door but no one came until now. My wife and I usually get Domino's on the other side of Bloor but seeing as how we got a flyer in the mail for Pizzaiolo we thought we'd give it a try. They were offering an x-large two topping pizza for $17.99. My wife put in the order and I went to go pick it up. We ordered onions and roasted red pepper.

I'm giving it a three star because I thought the pizza was pretty good (I added my own olives afterward) but my wife wasn't overly impressed, one of the two pieces she ate didn't even have red pepper on it. Main issue however is that when I got home we counted the slices, 10 slices, 10 slices = large, 12 slices = x-large.

Not sure if there is a strategy on their deals "give them a smaller pizza with limited toppings" but that's what we got. Ultimately I can get two mediums from Domino's for 15 bucks. The quality may be a bit better at Pizzaiolo but the overall value isn't there, I'll stick...
