My boyfriend and I stumbled across Poke Eats Restaurant - Hawaiian Inspired Food & Take Out while exploring the east end, and we were pleasantly surprised by this gem. I opted for the Its Lit bowl with black rice, salmon, spicy mayo, avocado, spicy cucumber, grape tomatoes, sweet corn, and a variety of garnishes. This bowl was a delightful combination of flavours and textures. The black rice was a cool addition, while the fresh salmon paired perfectly with the spicy mayo, creating a rich and creamy bite with a spicy kick. The avocado added a smooth, buttery element, and the spicy cucumber provided a refreshing crunch. The grape tomatoes and sweet corn added a hint of sweetness, balancing the spice nicely. Overall, the Its Lit bowl was a delicious and satisfying choice that I thoroughly enjoyed. My boyfriend chose the Poke Eats bowl, their classic offering, which includes white rice, tuna, maple sesame shoyu, cucumber, sweet corn, crab salad, and edamame. This bowl did not disappoint and had all the elements you would expect in a classic poke bowl. The white rice was a perfect base, and the tuna was fresh and flavorful. The maple sesame shoyu added a unique and slightly sweet twist that complemented the tuna well. The cucumber and sweet corn added a nice crunch and sweetness, while the crab salad and edamame rounded out the bowl with their distinct flavours and textures. It was a well-balanced and enjoyable bowl that my boyfriend loved. The ambiance of Poke Eats is super cute, with a clean and modern design that feels welcoming and vibrant. The location on Queen East is fantastic, being close to the beach and making it a great spot to grab a meal before or after a stroll by the water. The atmosphere adds to the overall experience, making it a delightful place to dine in or take out. Overall, our visit to Poke Eats Restaurant - Hawaiian Inspired Food & Take Out was a great experience. The food was fresh, flavourful, and well-prepared, and the ambiance was charming and inviting. Both bowls we tried were delicious, with the Its Lit bowl standing out for its spicy and creamy combination, and the Poke Eats bowl delivering a classic poke experience. The location is ideal, especially for those looking to enjoy a meal near the beach. We would definitely recommend this place and look forward to visiting again. Overall, we rate our experience 4 out of 5 stars.

Delicious, nutritious and filling poke! I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while as a friend recommended it, and it was amazing! The restaurant is takeout-only. They have pre-set poke bowls or you can build your own. I built my own and had white rice for the base, salmon for the protein, Ponzu for the sauce, cucumber and avocado for toppings, and all included garnishes. The ingredients were all fresh and delicious. The salmon was melt-in-your-mouth! The workers here were kind and prompt and make the poke bowls to order with impressive speed! The portions are also quite generous for $15-$17 dollars! I had some leftover for the next day. I’ll definitely be back to try another bowl, I’m thinking this time with their spicy mayo.

It looked so good, but, I'm a bit disappointed. Starting with the positive, the rice was the perfect texture, the crab salad was so good, and the mango was a super yummy addition to my bowl! But, from my understanding I thought poke bowls were supposed to be coldish? This was just kind of warm/room temperature. The tuna was weird.. and weirdly fishy. It was kind of warm and it definitely could have been fresher. And the edamame seemed a bit undercooked. Other than that the girl who took my order was super cute, patient and nice and the atmosphere was clean, cute and simple! I'd recommend this place if you like your poke not chilled and like your tuna/fish a bit fishy! Not bad.
